REPRODUCTION
The Missouri artificial vagina is commonly used in North America for the collection of semen from stallions. It has a standard 46cm length with a heavy leather casing which gives rigidity to the latex inner liner. The Missouri is lighter than other models and therefore is easier to handle when filled with water. It also allows for the addition of air to make the liner tighter and allows a less direct manual stimulation of the penis which is preferable with some stallions. Comes complete with a heavyduty single-piece latex liner, two collecting bottles and adaptor to connect bottles to liner. Disposable plastic inner liners are also available (complete with gel filter.)

Handyscope is a high-powered portable microscope especially made for fast and reliable fertility testing of semen. The device is ideal for a quick test on semen motility - the best single indicator of fertility. Handyscope is powered by a replaceable cameratype lithium battery that will give around 10 hours of operation (battery included and spare supplied). The high-intensity LED lamp gives clear, bright images, even in dark working conditions. Magnification is 200X, equivalent to a good desktop unit. A finefocus adjustment is incorporated. The Handyscope can be used with regular glass slides, but 5 special polycarbonate slides are supplied with the unit. These slides reduce cold-shock to the semen sample, giving more accurate motility results. They also have greater safety, being unbreakable, and can be reused. 100 glass cover slips are also supplied. Handyscope can also be used for faecal egg counting.
