Several prospective investors were keen to learn about Biocom’s Global Partnering Conference scheduled for February 28 – March 1, 2018. Others laid out the services that they can provide to US companies looking to set up shop in China. Dr. Drory of Twist Bioscience added, “China has the scale, know-how and ambition to be a world leader in many industries and have put life sciences as a priority. Life science, biotech and synthetic biology is flourishing in China and it becomes a big market for Twist. We are looking for customers and partners in China to work with in unlocking this huge market.” In all, it seemed as though this region of China is eager to engage and ready to further grow this sector of their economy and having the BAC platform in place makes the learning curve
