MTB & BOAT SOUTHERN DALMATIA STANDARD The combination of mountain bike and boat in South Dalmatia fulfils a bikers wildest dreams; from trails to tranquil swim stops. A charming motor yacht with comfortable cabins serving traditional cuisine is the basis of your floating accommodation for the week. Our aim is to stay off road and to explore the islands of Dalmatia by mountain bike on local trails. To save time and energy, some sections will take place on tar-sealed roads leading leading back to rewarding trails, with many technical sections, back down to the sea.

the island of Hvar. In the afternoon, we bike through small villages and ancient Greek vineyards before returning to Stari Grad for the night.

1st day (Sat) Trogir (Embarkation) – Split Individual arrival in Trogir. Check-in takes place between 2 and 2:30 pm. The first short cruise starts at 3 pm from Trogir to Split.

4th day (Tue) Island Korčula – Makarska (aprx. 23 mi/37 km, 2,000 ft./600 m of elevation) Today’s bike tour leads us along exceptional trails and unpaved, scenic routes from Vela Luka, along the coastline all the way to Prigradica. The boat awaits our arrival for lunch and we set off for Makarska. The evening can be enjoyed strolling along the famous Makarska Riviera.

2nd day (Sun) Island Hvar (aprx. 18 mi/29 km, 1,350 ft./ 400 m of elevation) In the morning, we cruise to the lovely natural harbour of Stari Grad on

3rd day (Mon) Islands Hvar and Korčula (aprx. 16 mi/25 km, 2,000 ft./600 m of elevation) This morning our tour takes us from Stari Grad, along natural paths with amazing views to Hvar. Here we visit the magnificent Renaissance Square and climb to the Spanish Fortress; situated high above the city. After today’s tour, the boat takes us to Vela Luka on the island of Korčula.

5th day (Wed) Makarska – Omiš: Cetina Canyon (aprx. 27.5 mi/ 44 km, 2,600 ft./800 m of elevation) In the morning, a short boat crossing takes us to Omiš. Today we have the choice between taking part on a bike tour around the Cetina Canyon or participating in a rafting excursion down the Cetina River (not included in the tour price). In the afternoon, we have time to explore Omiš and its pirate fortresses. 6th day (Thu) Islands Brač and Šolta (aprx. 12.5 mi/20 km, 1,475 ft./ 450 m of elevation) Today the boat takes us to the island of Brač, known for its precious limestone. From Pučišća, we bike on varying paths across wine and sage sown fields overlooking the local quarries. On arrival in Postira, we cruise to the island of Šolta. Here we can take part on a 4.5 km hike with a visit to the local beekeeper, Goran, along the way.

8th day (Sat) Trogir (Disembarkation) After breakfast, disembarkation until 9 am and individual journey home or an extended stay in Dalmatia/ Croatia.

7th day (Fri) Island Šolta – Trogir (aprx. 10 mi/16 km, 985 ft./300 m of elevation) In the morning, we set out on our last bike tour on the island of Šolta past walled fields, numerous olive groves, fig trees and an abundance of wild rosemary. The last crossing takes us from Rogač to Trogir where we will have plenty of time to enjoy the World Heritage old town before enjoying a celebrative last meal on board.
