hipton’s Big R has been serving farmers and ranchers and everyone who lives the rural and western lifestyle for more than 66 years. Now celebrating the opening of their new store in Billings Heights, Shipton’s Big R continues a proud tradition of offering the highest quality products at everyday low prices along with the best possible customer service. Jay Carroll, who along with his brother Gregg owns Shipton’s Big R, leads a team of seasoned store managers including Tom Quinn (Big R West), Tyler McElvain (Big R East) and and Sam Depew (Big R Sheridan). Rounding out the team is Shelby Toepke, who has taken the reins as store manager of Big R Heights.

Born and raised in Miles City, MT., Shelby understands the needs of farmers and ranchers. “We’re very excited to be opening our fourth store in Billings Heights,” Toepke said. “This is a great location to serve people in the Heights plus farmers and ranchers all across eastern Montana.” The Heights store features the same high-quality products, including chainsaws, leather gloves, hardware, tow straps, whole oats, wood shavings and bulk propane. “Come and see all that Big R Heights has to offer – we look forward to serving you,” Shelby said.
