Ability to unlock the hidden job market Renowned for his fresh and innovative approach to recruitment and networking in the digital age, Peter Jones explains, “Personality and an ability to listen and learn is the cornerstone of recruitment, so we have decided to create a unique, free programme of interactive workshops to support job seekers and mitigate the inevitable after-effects of the newly imposed lockdown in 2021.”

The debut session will take place on Friday 15th and the initiative is welcomed by supporter and backer Stephen Johnson, the Managing Director at Quooker UK who comments, “I am delighted to take part in the first of these exclusive workshops and work with Peter to help transform careers and shape positive change for our industry. We are particularly proud of the partnership we formed together last summer in order to support the KBB industry and offer next-level redundancy support including specialist coaching and mentoring, alongside dedicated seminars and podcasts” says Stephen. Peter adds, “We want to provide targeted advice, along with the latest creative strategies to optimize career opportunities within the KBB, Builders Merchant & Construction Sales Industries. Making a commitment to improve your life is the biggest thing you can ever do and we want to help facilitate this by providing you with a solid foundation for success so you can fulfil your long-term career aspirations.”
Peter concluded, “With the health crisis and digital landscape changing on a weekly basis, job hunting and recruitment has to be fluid and therefore evolve, because if we don’t start doing things differently, we are in danger of losing our best players to other sectors: and potentially, stop attracting experts within our field and much sought after stars of the future.

VITRA PREDICTS
NATURE AND HYGIENE TO BE BIG FOR 2021
It might sound like a particularly gruesome illness, but Biophilia is predicted to be big in bathrooms for 2021.
Biophilia is the integration and inclusion of nature as a focal point – with lavish, well cared for greenery, natural wood finishes and subtle shapes and colours. A biophilic bathroom design features shapes and colours that have a relationship with the great outdoors. Various ferns and air plants like Tillandsia will thrive in humid bathrooms. Succulent plants (plants that store water in their leaves) also love bathrooms. To complement glossy leaves and foliage, white remains the top choice for sanitaryware – but splashes of subtle colour can be added with vessel
basins. "The return to the full-colour suite may not be around the corner," comments VitrA's Margaret Talbot, but a subtle hint of colour in a soft earth tone adds character and distinction to a bathroom."
Bathscaping is the other bathroom buzzword for 2021 –the art of creating a harmonising scheme that meets all the family's needs while also being practical, clutter-free, and easy to look after. Clutter-free modern shapes create a peaceful atmosphere – something everyone is seeking after the stressful ups and downs of 2020. Plants play to this desire with consumers who have had time to spend time outdoors this year or are yearning tropical influences from missed vacations.
