An unsatisfactory experience for a consumer can have negative repercussions for both manufacturer and installer so it is essential that manufacturers offer initiatives, resources and support to their installer partners to help ensure the livelihood of their businesses are protected at these most crucial of times.
At a time when face-to-face support is minimal, the importance of a digital support network for installers has never been more crucial. Bushboard has created The Installer Network, a digital resource centre dedicated to supporting its installer partners with the latest information on products and training opportunities.
Hosting easily accessible installation guides, refresher product videos and direct contact support with a technical product expert when needed, networks like this provide a much-needed branch of support, which is so often amiss in the industry yet so important for many installers who are treading the boards alone and value easily accessible and tangible support.
Additionally, Bushboard has also taken further steps in ramping up its efforts to support installers with a brand-new e-learning module, a worktop-specific CPD course for installers. Working in partnership with BiKBBI, the new free online training course will be delivered by product specialists in the Bushboard team and will guide installers through best practice for fitting its Evolve compact laminate work surfaces.
The Evolve range comprises an ultra-slim 12.5mm thickness and its range of 15 bold designs against a backdrop choice of five principal solid core colours enables installers to provide a cutting-edge design statement in their customer’s kitchens. The new module will also highlight how installers can use the Evolve range to streamline the fitting process, with shaping on-site made possible thanks to their solid coloured core and ease of cut.
Bushboard also has a Business Support Team, which features dedicated resource to it's installer community. To support the new Installer Network, this area will be a key touch point for installers, answering technical questions, providing help with training, understanding the needs of the installer and helping develop and encourage installers to use our products, including getting key marketing material into their hands to help their customers make their choice.
