600mm WIDE PANELS OFFER EASE OF INSTALLATION

The narrower 600 x 2440mm panel however is a good one for installers to be aware of as its particularly suitable for certain types of jobs and compact spaces.

The 600mm wide board is an easy size to transport, cut and handle. The panels are lightweight to lift and carry and so can easily be manoeuvred up and round stairs or into restricted spaces – and still create stylish, waterproof areas that are easy to clean and maintain.

Beautiful baths

Baths are commonly 600mm wide x 1200m long. The 600mm wide panels are perfect for fitting around baths as one panel will fit conveniently behind the taps, while a run of two 600mm panels will sit neatly along the long edge.

For jobs where there is a shower over the bath, the shower screen fixings can sit neatly at the outside edge of the 600mm wide panel.

Compact cloakrooms

Lockdown has refocused consumers’ priorities when it comes to home renovations and hygiene has understandably moved up the list of priorities for many. There’s been a rise in people looking to add a downstairs cloakroom so that guests have a contained place to use, and to create a separate place for handwashing.

in these situations the 600mm panels are an easier size to work with. They minimise cutting and wastage and are very easy to install behind basins and toilets giving the homeowner a stylish surface that is durable and easy to clean.

Small shower rooms

Many people are now also looking to add extra showering capability to their homes, often by carving space off a bedroom to create a bijou en-suite. Showerwall’s smaller panels are the perfect solution when working around a 600 x 600mm shower tray as the panels can be simply lifted in and sealed in place, with no need for measuring and cutting beforehand.

They can be installed with Proclick installation using click design technology to lock the panels together without the need for joining trims - offering plenty of design and installation scope for installers when meeting a range of consumer needs.
