Ask any great relationship builder about the secret to success and sooner or later they will mention the word momentum. People who achieve business momentum have taken the time and energy to build strong connections—and momentum is the thing that fires them up and keeps them going. Great, you might say. But what happens when a global pandemic comes along and threatens to take the wind out of your sails? Just twelve months ago, it would have been nearly impossible to predict what the year 2020 would bring. I think it is fair to say that COVID-19 brought momentum to a grinding halt for many of us—at least temporarily.
