Home Safety Check Solihull Community Housing also works with West Midlands Fire Service to provide a free service to check your home for fire safety. Home safety checks are available to anyone and take about 30 minutes. Firefighters from your local fire station will visit your home to reduce the risk of fire. To arrange your fire safety check call the Fire Safety in the Home freephone telephone number 0800 389 5525. If you are deaf, deafened or, hard of hearing, BID Services Solihull offer referrals to the Fire Service for Home Safety Checks and appropriate equipment such as flashing or vibrating fire alarms. Solihull Community Housing (SCH) Healthy living at your local library Working in partnership with Solihull Council, SCH Wellbeing delivers a range of services designed to keep you happy, healthy, independent, and safe in your own home. These services are available to SCH tenants, private paying customers and referrals from Solihull Council. They include: home adaptations, home support, Safe and Sound pendant alarms and Home Hazard Assessments.
