An ecosystem of connected solutions

An ecosystem of connected solutions
Bibliotheca works with 30,000 libraries around the globe to make the library experience seamless, intuitive, and inclusive. Through integrated technology that covers a full range of library needs, we enhance how libraries function, inspiring and delighting people wherever they are.
As degreed librarians and avid library users, we understand the unique management challenges that libraries face, along with what the future will demand of library services. Pairing global insight with strong local support, we’ve got a team nearby to help you make sure your library is ready.
Powered by quickConnect, our intuitive self-service software, our selfCheck portfolio provides library users with a convenient way to borrow, return, and renew physical and digital materials and pay fines on their library account. Integrated library promotions and recommended reads allow you to promote your collection, services, and events right at checkout.
When paired with uniFi+, Bibliotheca’s library communications solution, selfCheck screens also function as digital signage — broadcasting messages throughout the library. Available in freestanding and desktop designs, the selfCheck line provides the flexibility to choose the best option for your unique space. Our selfCheck solutions are available both with Tattle-Tape™ and RFID technologies.
selfCheck, modern, intuitive self-service
Increase patron privacy and convenience and free up staff time by offering self-service payment options for library fines and fees. selfCheck is available with a variety of integrated payment options including cash and coin, credit, and debit card payment. Options vary based on geographical location.

Clocking in at just 10 inches and featuring a simple three-step plug-and-play wireless set up, cloudCheck tablet allows libraries to improve service by providing more borrowing stations, while controlling costs.
With its small footprint and wireless connectivity, cloudCheck tablet can be moved to suit demand, while automatic updates and mail-in replacement parts virtually eliminate service calls.
An affordable, compact automated returns solution for libraries of any size. Library users simply place returns on the shelf and technology does the rest - identifying the item, removing it from the user’s account, and enabling security, making it immediately available
for recirculation. Patrons can browse recently returned items and borrow them using the integrated selfCheck, reducing the time staff spend checking in and reshelving, and freeing them for more meaningful interactions in the library.
Designed to extend the coverage and accessibility of the library, remoteLocker offers self-service holds pick-up, browsing, and returns at times and locations more convenient for patrons. Offer busy patrons flexible pickup hours by placing lockers in 24/7 library vestibules, grocery stores, or community centers, and other public spaces.
Fully modular, remoteLocker can be customized with various locker types and configured to suit any library or community space. Include large lockers to accommodate non-traditional items and transparent doors to create a browsable collection.
The intuitive, easy to use touchscreen interface, powered by quickConnect software, provides patrons access to account information, and when paired with uniFi+, Bibliotheca’s information and content distribution platform, the remoteLocker screen acts as a billboard, spreading your library’s message throughout your community. remoteLockers can be used as-is, and are wrap-ready for a custom graphic wrap to increase library visibility in the community and reach new users.
Offer library holds pick up in parking lots, transit stations, or community green spaces. remoteLocker outdoor is a weatherproof solution that can withstand rain, snow, and temperatures ranging from -20°F to 120°F.
The remoteLocker outdoor is made of anti-corrosion steel and wiring, with a powder finish and is wrap-ready for a custom graphic wrap. It includes a motion-detected, self-illuminating metal awning for increased convenience and safety, while protecting patrons from the elements.
The remoteLocker outdoor’s easy touchscreen interface is powered by quickConnect, the same powerful software that runs Bibliotheca selfChecks, providing patrons easy access to account information right at pickup. The lockers are compatible with uniFi+, allowing libraries to use the screen as a digital billboard to broadcast library messages far beyond the library walls.
