Born, raised and based in Seoul, South Korea, Jeong-Ah Zhang is a contemporary artist specializing in painting. Working also with photography and mixed, Jeong-Ah Zhang pushes us to the edge of our ourselves and the world for deep meaning. Her surrealist paintings connect us to a world that exists insideout and outside-in of our consciousness.

Jeong-Ah Zhang majored in fine arts at Ewha Women's University in Seoul. She has shown in five solo shows in Korea, Canada and the USA, and her works have been selected for exhibition in over 80-juried competitions, and participated in more than 80 group shows and art fairs in the USA, Korea, France, Italy, Spain, Japan and the UK. The artist has received 33 international awards and 15 in Korea, and has been exhibited internationally and featured in various publications.

The oriental Buddhist philosophy that all things works mysteriously without a true substance is the basis of my work, but I am not a religious person. My life and art is based on my own philosophical thoughts and experiences. I am interested in the philosophy of reflections on all beings, and my works use symbols, metaphors and imagery in the metaphysical world to express phenomena such as the nature of life, or the principle of the universe. Guardian of the planet. Multidimensional Artist and Soul’s Ambassador, Light keeper. My 80’s Eleneusinos sketches, culminated with Astrakt Art Orderation in 2004.

I articulate my work around The Three Ways of Spiritual Knowledge: The Alchemical Way, the Priestly Way and the Way of the Warrior. My Ashrams (Artists Books) are the support on which I organize myself.

In the Series Goodness, Truth and Beauty (Healing the Roots) I try to seek elementals beings: gnomes, sylphs, undines and salamanders I have learned that in Nature is all there is to know. I grew up next to the mountains.

That gives me a special sensitivity towards nature. Travels across Europe have broadened my horizons.

I studied Fine Arts and Sculpture in Barcelona University.

I have been teaching art since my son born. He is 29.

I work on protection and conservation of Natural Biotopes, artistic organizations and theater groups. Also in Educational Reform and Experimentation Projects. Ancient Greece, Renaissance, and Encyclopedic thinking; Surrealism, Informalism, Abstract expressionism and later Transvanguardia, Land Art, Fluxus & Performance; Impressionism, fauvism, expressionism and Metaphysical Art are my references.

I am Classica, oneiric, immediate and whole-hearted.

I was born to embrace the earth that gives us inconceivable things.

Gary Menzel Painting

Growing up in Detroit, MI, and its suburbs I was influenced by a range of world-class visual artists and music.

This, along with a vibrant mix of people and cultures, helped shape my vision of the arts.

As my interest in abstract art became more defined, my exploration of the “New York School” of artists motivated me to become involved in abstract expressionism. The styles of deKooning, Mitchell, Pollock and others represented an attitude and energy with which I closely identify and formed the departure point for my own unique artistic expression.

Located in Treasure Island, FL, my art studio is minutes from downtown St. Petersburg, FL, a city that boasts “Art Shines Here”, hosts renowned art museums, and features five Arts Districts. Year-round art events draw artists from around the world, constantly expanding my creative experience.

My name is Barbara Page I live in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. Originally, I am from a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin. I started out by drawing the markings on our cows, beginning my artistic journey. I attended University of Wisconsin – River Falls. I have a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. At 30 years old I was in an auto accident. The accident left me with a traumatic brain and spinal injuries. I love to draw and paint realistic art with the mediums of watercolor, pen and ink. My inspiration is the artwork of Alphonse Mucha; with my focus on nature, florals and human figures. Because of my injuries I visualize things differently. My injuries resulted in clouded thinking and hand tremors. Unsteady hands made it difficult to do fine details. Today my artwork is influenced by the traumas and blessings I endured.

Internationally known Fine Artist with 59 group and solo exhibitions, publications and awards in 2023.

A multi-talented artist that creates in every part of her life, Ilia began painting while maintaining a poetic pen pal relationship with a man named Ralph Grimes, who one day she sent a drawing to. After he hung up the sketch and he told her of how many admirers praised the work, her confidence and purpose as an artist was cemented. Inspired by the creativity of her mother and grandfather through gardening, she learned at a mere three years of age and beyond that ‘life is a canvas’ upon which we create. She continued her poetry, yet was urged by Grimes to try her hand at painting. Her path was set. Known for her ability to communicate exactly what the viewer wants in her commissioned pieces, she sold her first wonderful work in 1987, titled ‘Cosi Fan Tuti.’ Her first check for this validated her increasingly growing ability as an artist.

Ilia weaves a very spiritual feeling into both her writings and art. Schooled by independent teachers, predominately Mr. Grimes who held an MFA, she was rooted further in her work by teachings in Classical, Jazz, Big Band and more.

Following the lyrical pulse of life, when Ilia paints, creates digital fine art or writes, she listens to music.

Influenced by Mozart, Vivaldi, Loeillet, Telemann, Purcell, Beethoven, Hayden, Bach, flutist Jean-Pierre Rampal, and old time jazz, among more, these sounds help breathe life into her poetic, painterly work. Also heavily influenced by writer, poet, photographer, musician, and filmmaker L. Ron Hubbard, whose rational philosophy has guided her life, as well as inventor and artist Leonardo Di Vinci – she dubs her style as Dreamscapes as it has different colors and flows-reminiscent of her varying high minded influences from art and musical composition to philosophy.

Ilia states, that she creates art in order to ‘inspire others to create.’ Indeed, her visions for her life, even beyond the canvass, are bright and noble. She adds, “I help other artists to make a living with their art because I found out that once I inspire others to create it elevates us all up higher-myself included. And- at times that person isn’t going to continue unless there is a way or even several ways in which to make a living with their art, so I like to help teach them to do that.”

In addition to art, Ilia has now written a book titled “The Art of Mentoring” to share her successful actions for helping others! But for now, it is Ilia’s art that is worthy of much great attention. When asked what clients collecting her work can expect, she concludes, “People can expect quality work that speaks to them. A person with my art can expect to look at it time and again finding new things to admire about it. And a person can expect other people, when seeing it, to gravitate to it, look at it, admire and to continue to be drawn to the painting, looking and seeing more about it.” Unclear?

Hardly. Ilia is a rare, grounded woman with a vision, and possessing of a trained skill and confidence in that vision, which speaks diligently- from the spirit to each work she creates- and from each work in turn to each client. I am a Norwegian photographer, who after having trained as a technical draftsman, for 25 years has worked as a graphic designer, but retrained as a photographer in 2004-2006 at the Oslo Art School of Photography.

It's what I can create with just the camera that captures me the most with photography - Photoshop only used as a darkroom. I often use one "long" exposure while moving the camera to create my own magic. Sometimes I merge two motifs in one exposure to create a whole new one with this technique.

This technique with many variables, makes it impossible to repeat the same motive twice, a quality I greatly appreciate.

With thoughts around multi-use and reuse also in arts and crafts I have designed tables in hand forged raw iron and in solid oak with replaceable art photo table tops in thick plexiglass or 4 mm tempered glass - signed and numbered with engraving, print of 10.

In this way, you can renew the table and the room just by complimenting with a new art photo table top, and vary with the ones you already have.

My fascination with light is why I love working with copying directly on acrylics, up to 40 mm thick - then the light refraction becomes magical!

All manipulating is done only with the camera in one shot, long time and movement, not manipulated in Photoshop. This technique with many variables makes it impossible to repeat the same motif twice, a feature I really appreciate. By working with abstraction, I also want to give more room for the viewer's own imagination.

RIKXECOM strive to create meaningful pieces of art that spark joy, imagination and exploration. My artwork is often a reflection of my spiritual journey, and I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the power of the human spirit. I believe art feeds our escape and strive to create pieces that will speak to the hearts of my viewers. Each piece is an expression of my subconscious and spiritual journey and invite you to explore and be inspired.

As a multi-disciplinary artist based in Florida. From a young age, I was inspired by my mother to explore the world of art and expression. My passion for art led me to open my own studio in 1982, where I was able to express myself through a variety of mediums.

In addition to my artistic pursuits, I was also a youth chess champion by the age of 10. Despite being diagnosed with Marfan’s Syndrome in my pre-teens and having many surgeries, this did not stop me from pursuing my passions.

I continue to combine my love of art, bringing my unique talents to the forefront of my work. journey with me as I continue to share my creative expression, RIKXECOM's Digi Assist multi programs and hardware mix, capture the essence of visual art using a combination of Images made with the assistance of computer painting, using a variety of mediums to bring my art to life.

Teh-Hsuan (Momo) Chen Textile Art, Graphics, Sculpture

Teh-Hsuan (Momo) Chen is a Taiwanese textile artist based in NY. She graduated from the MFA Textiles program of Parsons School of Design in 2023. She keeps breaking her past oppressions and letting out the political tensions she has experienced as a Z-generation Taiwanese with a Mainlander background. Inspired by the political issues surrounding her homeland, she utilizes textile-making as a gentle medium for starting a conversation about controversial topics. Her art practice integrates multiple genres of textile techniques with Chinese/Taiwanese character-inspired shapes into one textile as a metaphor for her complex bloodline. She believes effective communication can reduce the possibility of reckless warfare.

Born and raised in Baltimore, My passion for Photography started when I was in high school but I took it more seriously in college when I enroll in a digital photography class and it open my eyes to photography even more and haven't looked back since. I purchase my first camera during that time period and later started using my iPod as another camera source to take pictures just because it's easy, convenient, and with the increase of technology with camera usage. Gladys Waters Painting

Gladys Waters is a Colombian American Contemporary Artist.

Gladys discovered late in her life that the blood that runs through her veins is that of an artist. Her late father Luis E Celedón was a very talented artist and she now is following in his footsteps.

She used to live in the Bay Area, and 7 years ago she moved to Redding with her husband Robert.

Gladys likes to paint oil on canvas or panels, combining the palette knife technique with brush strokes, what make her paintings pop with the texture.

She had solo shows, including The Colombian Consulate in San Francisco, California, Earth Dance Studio and Main Street Gallery in Weaverville, at The Redding Regional Airport in Redding.

She regularly exhibits her paintings with other artists, at the Redding City Hall, Shasta County Arts Council Shasta County Office of Education and NVAL I. Redding.

She had been included in the "Top 100 Registry " magazine from New York, in 2021. She had been inducted in the prestigious Marquis Who is Who in America, in 2020.

In 2022 and 2023, Gladys was invited by Shasta County Anderson Library, to paint for the kids at the Storytime afternoons.

Cher Pruys Photography, Painting, Drawing

Cher Pruys, ASAA SCA, IGOR, AAPL, CSAA, AMS, LMS, OSA, MAA, CFA, NOAPS, PSOA, AWA. "To take my inner visions with my hands and create a work of art for you the viewer ... That is the ultimate in self expression."

Cher Pruys was born in Regina. Over the years she lived in many places including Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Fort Frances, settling into her present home in Devlin, on the banks of the Rainy River with her husband Mark, 4 dogs and 2 cats.

By age three, Cher was seldom found without a drawing tool in hand. She worked in pencil, charcoal and ink over the years, until, she picked up a paintbrush at the age of 35. Beginning with oil paints, she found her chosen mediums in acrylic, water color and gouache.

Although self taught, her dedication and talent has seen her work juried into 331 International exhibits, as well as exhibits in numerous non juried shows. She has won 403 first recipient of a major Canadian National Award, The Mary Pratt Crystal Award of Excellence at the 2014 SCA Open Juried Exhibition, The SCA 1st place award of distinction twice respectively, 2016, and 2017 at The Canada’s 150 show. The SCA 2nd place Award of Distinction in the 2021 Elected Members Show. The winner of the Biafarin/SCA Award of Excellence at the 2022 Elected Members Show. October 2021 Winner of The Exclusive Harmony of The Arts Contest by The Blue Blood Gallery in Prague. The Gold Medal recipient for Figurative Painting in The Mondial Art Academia’s International 2018 Competition. The Silver Medal for Portrait Painting in The 2020 International Art Professional World Art Acadamia Competition. The Aviation Week & Space Technology Award Best of the Best, and the ASAA Award of Distinction for the best painting in the ASAA International Space & Technology Exhibit & Competition, consecutively for 2 years. Time line Already at an early age she wasfascinated by sculptural design. At the age of 13 her father gave her severalcans with polyurethane foam. With these she made her first large object a totempole. From then onwards everything she laid her hands on was transformed intoartistic objects: from printed circuit boards a view of a town, from paper acello player, from driftwood a boot etc. Her motivation to be creative grew andgrew over the years. More and more she made and showed these works of art toher friends. In addition to the sculptural design technical pieces were made tobe used for secondary education. After years of making technical end creativeobjects she realized that the making of these sculptures not only made her feelgood, but also that other people appreciated and became happy of her work. Bygraduating, in May 2018, at the Art Academy Haarlem/Leiden she gained moreknowledge of the fundamentals in sculptural design. This study will also be aprelude to work independently as an artist.

Mehrzad Zarrabian Painting, Sculpture

Mehrzad is a Persian-American multitalented professional artist who captures the inward journey through her paintings. She has also excelled in set and costume design, voice acting and interior design.

Born in Tehran, Iran, she received her bachelor’s degree in 1993 from College of Arts and Architecture, majoring in graphic design. Mehrzad began painting at the early childhood that later extended to other artistic areas.

In 1987, She started her career by creating ceramic relieves which overtime evolved into painting and artworks/relieves encompassing glass and fiberglass.

Inspired by natural elements, she proceeded to pursue her passion for interior design and decoration, receiving her certificate from Tehran University in 1994.

In 1994, she assumed responsibility for multiple interior design projects. In 1995, while leading these projects, she expanded her career by working as set and costume designer and art director for multiple motion pictures and TV series along with voice acting. She is a member of the Iranian Motion Picture Designers Guild.

Paul Anderson Photography

I'm a self-taught hobbiest photographer who has been dabbling in photography since the late 1970’s. I am from and currently live in Philadelphia, PA although I spent my 20's in Seattle, WA, which is where I picked up my first SLR. Having lived both in the Puget Sound area and in SE Pennsylvania, I have found these regions to provide an excellent variety of possibilities in both rural and urban interest and beauty. My interests in photography include landscapes, street and rural photography – any scene or situation that affects me visually and emotionally.

My approach is contemplative, and my philosophy is to try to capture an image that will require minimal manipulation in editing mostly for artistic/aesthetic reasons. I find it a challenge and more rewarding to capture and produce an effective image without such manipulation. I am also a professional tenor, primarily classical, and have performed concert works around the Philadelphia area as well as Seattle (where I also first started singing seriously as well as start taking pictures).

James Berry Digital Arts

Born and raised in Alabama, James is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Art at Lyon College where he teaches ceramics, drawing, sculpture, and Art History. Originally going to school for medical Illustration, James soon found his main interest in 3 dimensional installations. The nature of site-specific installs is temporal which requires the use of documentation to present to a wider audience. This gave rise to his interest in photography and eventually, digital manipulation.

James feels that Art is the bridge and meeting point of all human disciplines which, at its best, can create harmony or, at its worst, showcase Hell on Earth.

I was introduced to sewing early in life by my grand-mother and mother, who were both avid sewers. My grandfather was a partner in a company who sold cashmere, wool and high-quality cloth for suits and coats, etc. I remember going to visit him at the “office”. He would take us into the warehouse area and let my mother choose cuts of fabric to make my sister and I coats and dresses and skirts. I used to leave with the odds and ends that nobody wanted. Thus, I believe, began my love for scraps!

I am a creator, maker, fiber and mixed media artist, surface designer, teacher, writer and lecturer. My love of layers and texture combine in creating my original work. I achieve results using a combination of different surface design techniques such as monoprinting, hand-painting, free-motion stitching and hand-stitching, amongst others to achieve the effects I am searching for. My work has won numerous awards at national and international shows. The techniques I use in my work can often be found in articles published by Quilting Arts Magazine, A Needle Pulling Thread and others. I have also appeared several times in Quilting Arts TV. I am currently teaching online from my studio in Calgary, Alberta.

Norman Gabitzsch Photography

I was educated to be a scientist with a Ph.D in Physics, but after finishing Post Doctoral work at Los Alamos, New Mexico, I took a position in the research department of a Multi-National Oil company where I did fundamental research to image the interior of the earth. It was here that I learned the fundamentals of signal processing that I now use for photography. I spent a career with this company performing both research and operational oil exploration. It was a great opportunity to travel and see the world.

I am a self taught “artist”. I like to study the work of the Masters both in the Paints and Photography. Painters have the luxury of creating perfect composition and palette with their mind’s eye (there is much to learn from their work), but the photographer has only a short time to find the right composition before the scene changes. The photographer has to develop great instinct and fast non hesitant reactions to do their work outside the studio. This is especially true of Street Photographers. The best way to learn these skills, in my opinion, is go out and take a lot of photographs.

In 2017 over 1.2 trillion photographs were made of the existing world. When one stops to think about it, there are very few things that have not been photographed before. For me I find motivation for photography by looking for the shot that others have overlooked. It may be a new Point of View or a different way of seeing light, or even using light that is not visible to the human eye. I have developed a strong style using the invisible light of infrared photography. For the viewer of the photograph I hope they find something that they have failed to notice before.

Alex Garikovich Painting

Alex Garikovich is a contemporary artist who works with various art techniques, from traditional painting to video art. His path began in 2000 when Alex began his work in contemporary art by submitting his graphic works to the annual reporting exhibition of the Moscow Union of Artists. Since then, he has become a prizewinner and finalist of many international awards, participated in an enormous number of exhibitions, and immersed himself as a curator. His artworks have received acclaim from gallerists, art critics, and curators, covered by a variety of media.

Alex's artworks explore severe social themes and problems of states that are close and familiar to him, Russia, where he was born and Ukraine, where since 2004, he has often lived, traveled, worked, and actively participated in various art events. Moreover, the artist reflected on the current world issues of society as a whole.

The central theme of Alex Garikovich's work is a person who has acquired “learned helplessness”, and who himself deprives of happiness and freedom. He had been injured so many times that he became submissive, stopped trying to break free from captivity, and avoided hostile environments even when the opportunity presented itself.

In March 2022, immediately after the start of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, Alex moved to Georgia, Tbilisi, where he became the curator of a charity exhibition at the Emigration for Action Foundation, which specializes in helping Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war in Georgia. Alex's current new project, which he is currently working on, is called Eternal February.

I was born in Painesville, Ohio. My high school years were in Lake Zurich Illinois, where I first learned printmaking processes under the instruction of William J. Weber and Pat Tobin. Evy Olsen Halvorsen Painting

Evy Olsen Halvorsen (aka Halvorsen Holstein) was born in northern Norway and currently lives in Kingston WA. Evy and her parents immigrated in 1956 to the neighborhood of Ballard in Seattle WA. After graduation from High School, Evy moved briefly to San Francisco before landing in Kitsap County with husband and daughters.

After raising her daughters, owning a couple of businesses, she continued her education at Cornish College of the Arts, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts, cum laude in 1999, in Painting and Printmaking. “Perhaps because of the landscape of my childhood I am drawn to creating a sense of space, color. Norway is a dramatic country especially the islands I come from which are above the Arctic circle. I love that open country, sharp mountains rising out of the sea, the quickly changing sky. Not unlike the home I have here, water, mountains and open skies.

I have a strong desire to create art that makes people think.

Being the daughter of an artist, art has been a part of my entire life. I’ve dabbled in many different mediums throughout and in 2018, my artistic soul was finally ready to come alive. I suppose I had an awakening. Creating is something I must do. It’s really fascinating creating art using mixed media. It’s much like building a structure one layer at a time. First the foundation and once that dries, I’ll add to it. One layer at a time. I want my art to have a rough texture but also have a graceful and beautiful appearance. I want all of the layers of texture and color to show and to have a purpose. I really enjoy challenging myself and experimenting with my art. It’s exciting to see how it will evolve in the future. This is my inspiration. This is my calling.

Kristine Kieper Fiber Art

Needle felting landscape pictures is essentially painting with layers of colored fiber, creating unique visual textures and perspectives. My landscape needle felting artistic style seeks a softer, yet more complex visual using fine layers of color, fiber types and depths as I seek to emulate and draw out the raw aesthetics and sensations of an experience or a place.

As a fiber artist and wilderness enthusiast, I have no shortage of reference subjects to add to my needle felting portfolio. Nature produces seemingly limitless hues, tints, tones and shades of color and I find fiber is an excellent medium to portray many of the natural variations. Fiber’s natural texture can also be used to portray and emphasize the three dimensional aspects that a photo cannot achieve.

I’ve been knitting most of my adult life and am learning to spin my own yarn. I also enjoy creating unique decorations using felted materials, fiber and feathers.

Eugene Kuperman Painting, Drawing

Eugene Kuperman is a published and an award winning artist. Eugene’s work is in many private collections including in a private collection of Robert Harris Rothchild who has many notable works in his collection by artists like: Rembrandt, Chagall, Dali, Ernst, Lichtenstein, and many more. An art catalog came out in 2012 featuring many of those artists as well as the work commissioned from Eugene.

From 2010 to his passing in 2014, Eugene Kuperman studied with a renowned Russian artist Leonid Steele whose works are in many museums in the world, including pieces in the notable Tretyakov Gallery in Russia.

One of Leonid’s former teachers was a student of a famous Russian landscape painter: Isaac Levitan and another teacher he had, was a student of the famous Russian artist: Ilya Repin. From the end of 2014 since Leonid’s passing, Eugene studied painting with an award winning artist Lance Richlin until 2016 whose technical lineage goes back to the French Academic Masters of the 19th century and one of the teachers that he studied under taught Norman Rockwell. Eugene has been exhibiting since 2006. In 2008, Eugene traveled for a study abroad trip to Paris, France to study the old masters from life at the Louvre.

He was very much inspired by the Rubens room there as well as the two Michelangelo sculptures; Dying Slave and Rebellious Slave. Another piece that left an impression on Eugene was Theodore Gerricault’s The Raft of the Medusa. In October 2017, Eugene Kuperman traveled to Italy to study the great Italian Renaissance and Baroque masters. He’s witnessed the greatest works by Michelangelo first hand, such as Statue of David, St.Peter’s Pieta, Sistine Chapel, Tomb of Pope Julius II, Doni Tondo, Pieta Palestrina, the unfinished Slave sculptures, Dome of St.Peter’s Basilica and more. Michelangelo serves as his greatest inspiration for his incredible sense of design and composition. In September 2019, Eugene went back to Italy for further individual studies.

He experienced first hand the Medici Tombs designed by Michelangelo as well as many other invaluable Italian works of art which gave Eugene further understanding of art as well as inspiration. Since late 2014, early 2015, Eugene took a new direction in art. He took upon himself to create works of social commentary which to any extent educate, enlighten, and promote a positive change in society. Eugene Kuperman has been published in various art books, magazines, and newspapers.

Witherell Leigh Painting

Leigh Witherell (b. 1969; Denver City, Texas, US) Photographer and award-winning painter Leigh Witherell lives and works in Brevard County, Florida, near Orlando and Cape Canaveral.

Although Leigh’s education in the arts did not begin until college, she began to immerse herself in the fantasy world of literature as a child. Her escape into a wide variety of literary works that included the worlds of King Arthur, Beowulf, and others helped fuel the imaginings of a child and led to a love of creating. The combination of those interests later led her to obtain a BA in English with a minor in Fine Arts and eventually a Master’s in Literature from the Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio.

In 2018, Leigh and her husband relocated to Florida, where they found the perfect home with a studio for her creative work.

Her understanding of art-making as a powerful therapeutic tool informs her artistic practice. She specializes in abstract and fluid art, as these techniques allow her visions to transform themselves through interaction and reaction. For Leigh, this process mirrors grief, a central experience in her life following the loss of her daughter Amanda in a tragic automobile accident in April 2021.

Shortly before Amanda’s death, she had encouraged Leigh to launch her career as an artist and had identified fluid art as a mother-daughter project that would serve those purposes. Leigh decided to proceed with learning this new technique and began showing her fluid art soon after. It wasn’t long until her evolution took her away from fluid art and into her passion, melancholic abstract figurative and landscape art. This technique certainly shows the depth of feelings and range of emotions that are now part of her everyday life. Through these images, she can convey how her life has been affected and is evolving daily.

My love for metal casting started in my Sculpture 1 class at UW-Oshkosh in 1997. After graduating with a Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture degree, I moved to Florence, Italy to study for a short time. When I returned, I enrolled in UW-Milwaukee's graduate program in Sculpture and continued casting metal. Since then, I've participated in two Italian residencies, have showed my worked locally, regionally, and nationally, and conducted iron pours all over Wisconsin. I currently teach at UW-Whitewater and recently in the world famous foundry at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My studio is in Chilton, WI where I have a small foundry and host iron pours attended by artists from all over the United States.

Mina Moe Painting

I graduated from UCLA with Economics major and work in finance and data science sectors. I enrolled in art programs and completed with grade A's throughout the school years since I found my passion during the third grade. In my high school years, I was deeply fascinated by connections in art, mathematics, science and economics. Since then, my artworks have been influenced by the elements from all four domains. I am a passionate artist whose creative journey has been profoundly shaped by my deep connection to the natural world. I was born in a small town in North Carolina and grew up in even a smaller town in Florida. Since I was a army brat, I had the opportunity to travel to various states within the US where I developed a deep fondness of the nature around me while exploring the mountains, oceans and various country sides where I developed a keen appreciation for the delicate intricacies of nature.

Growing up in a household that cherished both art and nature, my artistic inclinations were nurtured early on.

My mother encouraged me to experiment with various artistic mediums, from painting to sculpting. As I honed into my skills, it became evident that art was intricately intertwined with my love for the outdoors.

My artistic journey officially began when I enrolled in a local ceramics class. It was there that I discovered my affinity for clay—the malleable material that would become my canvas for expressing the beauty I found in the world around me. The tactile nature of ceramics allows me to bring to life the shapes, textures, and colors that had long captured my imagination.

I have developed a unique artistic style that focuses on the exquisite details of nature. My work often features botanical motifs, including flowers, leaves, and herbs, delicately impressed into the clay. These natural imprints added an extra layer of depth and authenticity to my pieces, making them stand out in the world of ceramics.

One of the defining moments in my artistic journey is discovering the work of renowned ceramic artists Kaori Tatebayashi and Zuleika Melluish. These artists, whose creations were heavily influenced by the natural world, resonated deeply with my own passion for nature. Their ability to capture the essence of their surroundings in their art inspire me to take my works to new heights.

In my studio, nestled in the heart of my garden, I meticulously craft my pieces.

Tini Pinto Ceramic Art

Tini Pinto is a ceramic artist, she is proficient in precision wheel thrown functional ware with an emphasis on surface decoration. She founded Tini Pinto Ceramics in 2012 while living in Bermuda. She now creates sculptural vessels in her fully equipped pottery studio at her home in Connecticut.

In the last twenty three years she has moved from India to the U.S, Bermuda and back to the U.S. Her art is an immediate response to her ever changing surroundings.

Her multi-cultural life, growing up in India and traveling extensively to six continents, informs her aesthetic.

She is most inspired by nature, both flora and fauna. Simultaneously, she cannot deny the influence of AI generated, augmented reality, images found online. She feels compelled to examine the collision of these two opposing worlds. She believes her work is an expression of this collision.

Her current collection, Biomorphosis, is a portmanteau of the words, biophilia and metamorphosis. She creates gestural vessels which go through a metamorphosis when they are altered by pinching, carving, hand-building and surface decoration. Finally the vessels come to life with the application of vibrant glazes. Every piece is unique, yet as a collection, they come together to create a cohesive microbiome. These vessels evoke a feeling of jaimais vu, something that seems familiar and yet is novel and unexpected.

She has won multiple awards for this collection, they include, grand prize winner at See Me gallery’s juried show during the SCOPE art fair in Miami in 2022. Along with the Sonja Gerquest Award -Best in Show, Greenwich Art Society, 106TH Annual Bendheim Exhibit in 2023.

Over the years she has been recognized for her past collections. In 2015, she won the Made in Bermuda award for her Wrecks and Reefs Collection. In 2021 she was a finalist at the Flair with Dinnerware competition, held

by ICAN Potters Council, for her LOTUS dinnerware collection.

Scotty Pulley Painting

With his creative spirit encouraged by many summers spent in the natural landscape of his grandfather’s farm, Pulley’s eye for the everyday beauty in our world is central to his artwork.

Born in Houston, Texas, later moving to Bloomfield, Missouri at 14, Pulley’s artistic career was to be architecture. However, his path led him to major in fine art at Harding University instead. He later joined the Navy, serving in the Gulf War. After being honorably discharged from the military under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Pulley found a new vocation in UX design, where he’s worked ever since. Pulley upon moving back to Texas in 2017 rekindled his love for the visual arts, honing his distinct style of art and building a significant body of work.

Pulley’s work is held in corporate collections in the United States and private collections internationally. His unique expressionist style continues to bring depth and focus to the subtle beauty that surrounds us every day.

Rabbia Sukkarieh Sculpture

I was born in Baalbek, Lebanon, to a family who lives to help others.

Married very young, and moved to Beirut when the country was torn by the devastating fifteen-year war. Inspite of the horror, I earned my BFA with honors from the Art Institute while raising my two sons. My ex, due to the ongoing war, lost his employment, and fearing for my children's future and well-being, I arranged for a loan that enabled me to migrate to the United States.

1986, I studied English as I did not speak it well. Then I enrolled in Art Center, Pasadena while working as a housekeeper, a nanny and small jobs. I completed my second Undergraduate degree, then received my MFA with honors which awarded me a special “Art Citizenship”. At last, I was able to bring my sons to study and live with me My earlier works included public performances and installations during the long war in Beirut. Considered the first of their kind in Lebanon, Anneka Lenssen, an art historian from Berkeley University, is writing about them for the Art Journal and about SCHEHERAZADE, my 101 multimedia pieces installation about survival in the face of human and environmental destruction as depicted throughout art history.

I continued doing socio-political exploration of the differences between cultures while taking on commercial jobs to support my survival through performances and another installation, DARK LIGHT, 115, 12x12", pieces that represent balance amidst duality.

2008-2019, my work shifted to become more about the earth and the cosmos. Also how our thoughts and actions on the microcosmic level affect everything on the macro cosmic level. It is amazing what one person can do to help heal and change the surroundings. A group with untitled intentions can affect the world and keep our hope embedded in everyday's actions.

2020-2023, I had 3 injuries, but was able to create hundreds of new small drawings that study the quantum world and are a prelude to mix media sculptures and room-size installations.

Xiong Yanteng, a young artist, embarked on his artistic journey at the age of five. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. During his undergraduate studies, he received prestigious awards, including first-class professional honors.

I have spent my professional life as a graphic designer specializing in branding. I have worked for Fortune 500 clients all over the world. In addition, I have also been a design educator for over 20 years including as a very successful Director of the Academy of Art University Graphic Design Department. Throughout my career I have always painted. After spending a year studying and practicing Buddhism my style changed especially after reading a book titled: Long Quiet Highway about a Zen teacher named Katagiri Roshi which resulted in me creating the series "Katagiri".
