Wouldn’t it be wonderful, conceded Lynne and Selby and their guests, if Billy designed the Governor’s Ball after the Oscars. The LA Times touts Billy as the best “bash master.”

fter last weekend’s Cirque du Soleil’s world premiere of Iris at the Kodak Theatre, only days later a capacity audience of 13,000 went bonkers in Montreal during the premiere of Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, written and directed by Jamie King, with creative guidance from Guy Laliberte. Critics were “ecstatic with the dance, music and fantasy staging of Michael’s hits … a thriller of a show exceeding expectations.”
