Bold – states represented on Notre Dame’s 2014 roster. Notre Dame’s 50 all-time baseball letterwinners from New Jersey include 2004 All-American RHP Ryan Doherty (Toms River) and Fairlawn native Don Wolfe (pictured), who as a freshman tossed the first known no-hitter by a Notre Dame pitcher in 38 years (during a 10-0 home victory over Butler on April 20, 1975). The southpaw collected 12 strikeouts during the historic outing. He went on to post 20 complete games in his three-year career (’75, ’77-’78).
