The newspaper has changed from what you have been used to read in recent years. Physically you can see it right away: the format is larger, the paper is more environmentally friendly and certified, thicker, the process of printing is changed, from Rotogravure to Rotooffset, friendlier to the environment. Instead, the soul of L’Espresso remains the same: combative, progressive, secular, investigative. The spectrum, however, will widen to the world of production,to culturals and social trends, to working women, to the most enterprising young people, involving more and more ordinary people, the protagonists of everyday life. It will show readers what that others do not want them to see. It will have a special eye toward schools, universities, the civil service, rights, the environment, but also technology, startups and the space economy, real bets on the future.

L’Espresso is now the leading newspaper in Italy and is considered one of the most important brands of information, known for its undisputed authority and editorial quality. L’Espresso has entered a new phase in its life. The most obvious difference is the oblong format and the quality of the paper. There are also many new features inside: New topics, new columnists, new columns. But the preference for inquiries will remain the same. The soul of the newspaper will not change, but there will be more openness and attention to the issues of our time.
The editorial staff will be joined by a formidable team of columnists, from Carlo Cottarelli to Francesca Barra and Massimo Cacciari, from Claudia Sorlini to Virman Cusenza, from Fabrizio Barca to Enrico Giovannini, from Ray Banhoff to Nicolas Ballario, to ensure expertise and plurality of views.
