National Support Team 19.20 Application


What is NST?

The NST(National Support Team) is a body that directly works with the national office and supports the MC in their operations and strategic projects. It consists of both current AIESEC members and AIESEC alumni who want to directly contribute to the national plenary and work on national initiatives, platforms and projects next to or after their membership experience. The responsibilities are very important for the performance and sustainability of the organization.

Team Standards Specialist (Position Taken) Role Description: You will be responsible for ensuring team standards implementation. Tracking LCs productivity, reports checks, tracking points of LCs to ease the awarding system as stated in the entity membership manual. Ensuring standardized recruitment process, Membership Status Review follow ups. Requirements • This position is open for all AIESECers including Alumni with TL experience and above • Preferred if present in the country, but still outsiders will be considered. MOS • Team Standards implementation • Precise reflection of membership productivity on progress reports • # Productive members • # of reports on each LC • Team standard Tracking ( productivity, points for awarding system) Major Responsibility: • Track the productivity members, • Provide a clear report on membership around team standards delivery in each LCs and nominate worthy members, LCs for awards and recognition according to the national membership manual. Commitment: 5 - 7 hours per week

National Membership engagement Events manager (Position

Open)

Role Description: You will be responsible for planning and providing the entity (LCs) a platform for development and knowledge transfer in collaboration with the membership educator. Platforms such us Workshops, AiE LCMs and hangouts, OPS, IPS, IXP, Reintegration seminars (simple consultation for the LCVPs, not required to organize), any other innovative engagements is also highly encouraged. You would be also responsible for managing crucial conferences of the entity such as (NLDS/NYLS, NPC, NSM...) you will not be separately responsible for content development, you must be able to work with the MCVP and other members of NST. Requirements • This position is open for all AIESECers including Alumni with TL experience and above • Must be present in the country MOS • Relevance of events in transferring knowledge • # of people engagement as well as LCs • Evaluation of the impact of the events • # of events • LEAD implementation on events • Contribution of activities on exchange ( eg # of IXP) Major Responsibility: • Manage AIESEC standard events and conferences, capable of motivating, educating and inspiring members. Commitment: 7 - 10 hours per week (depends on the events timeline)

Membership Educator (Position Open) Role Description: You will be responsible for collecting and documenting the required knowledge for members, from each portfolio of the entity with the aid of LCVPs and MCVP. Create a form of documentation and pipeline for membership education delivery alongside with the MCVP. Enforce AIESEC hub implementation throughout the entity. Design Agenda for National events. Update the MEC as per needed. Requirements • This position is open for all AIESECers including Alumni with TL experience and above • Open for members outside of the entity.

Public Relations Manager (Position Taken) Role Description: PR is a managerial activity that attempts to shape the attitudes and opinions held by an organization’s stakeholders. Meaning we need PR to strengthen relationships with mutually beneficial partners. Requirements • Good communication skills • PR knowledge • Negotiation skills MOS •

Social Media Handler (Position Taken) Role Description: You will be responsible for overlooking the social media platforms and making analysis of what material works and what not. While also responding to comments and messages making the platform engaging. Requirements • Open for: External AIESECers. • Knowledge of SMO: Preferred • Consistent Internet connection

This is done through making sure our products (iCX and oGX) resonate with current and potential customers. IE, Following trends. EXPA Manager (Position Taken) Role Description: The EXPA manager will be responsible for tracking each project of AiE. To achieve a higher conversion rate from applied to approved and make sure the at most visibility of all the active projects on the opportunity portal (aieec.org). As most of the tasks of this position are online, candidates are required to have good access to the internet and be available online. Reporting to the MCVP ICX. Requirements: Open for Internationals EXPA knowledge Required Experience in the operations Required EB experience Preferred

Project Manager (Position Taken) Role Description: The project manager will be in charge of tracking each projects of AiE and guiding members of project creation and maintenance. Once all projects are created/ restructured, the PM is also expected to check and track each LC on the quality of EP experience they deliver especially the ones regarding the projects. International Relations (Position Open) Role Description: As International Relation (IR) manager, you are responsible for making exchange and the process with country partner easier and foreseeing how we can grow together, you will be in charge of assessing partnerships with country partner, new ways to improve the partnership. You will support the exchange network and work with MAC NST to see how we can align online promotion and campaigns. Internal Finance and Legalities (Position Taken) Role Description: Following on the LC regarding Finance and legalities and making sure the LCs are performing according to our financial policy and compendium.

Entity Control Board (ECB) (Position Taken) Role Description: The ECB is an independent part of AIESEC in Ethiopia. Its primary role is to make the entity more customer centric, and to ensure leadership development by fulfilling standards in every AIESEC program. Specific Challenge Questions

Go carefully through the case and put explanation for each point that is important (and counted) according to XPP? Propose a flow of solving this

case. Major Responsibility: 1. Ensure SnS and Customer Experience Management Implementation on AIESEC Programs to the national plenary 2. Is the final decision making body on the national level cases that violate? the XPPs (3.3.2.2.1.) 3. To conduct virtual and physical audits on standards implementation an develop prevention campaigns based on findings 4. Provide consultancy upon request 5. Provide education based on national guidance for the value delivery phase of the customer flow

 An EP from Indonesia was matched on 10th February for GV. The project will start on 16th May in

Hawassa.

The Invitation Letter was not sent in time by the LC and EP got it only on 13th May. He changed the tickets for the next week

and paid extra $500 ($400 for the tickets and $100 for fast visa preparation). EP fee is $200. The outgoing side is considering the situation as an ICB case and asks the hosting LC for the full reimbursement ($700).


Entity Control Board (ECB) Continued Specific Challenge Questions
