It all started with a team of activists who had seen the damage that plastic does to our environment. We asked ourselves, if there is so much material out there then why are we still producing virgin plastic instead of recycling, reusing the resource we have dumped in nature? Our mission is to do exactly that! We source our plastic from beaches, landfills, illegal dumpsites and prevent more plastics from ending up there. We work with communities of collectors around the world to bring these materials back into the production cycle. Empowering people while driving social and environmental change. If we manage to put the recyclable materials back into the production cycle, we replace the production of new plastics and reduce our dependence of a CO2 intensive fossil production. We collect Christian Sigmund, Holger Ernst, Fridtjof Detzner, Dieter Gottschalk, Jascha, Mähler, Katrin Oeding

WILDPLASTIC – Recovered from Nature

Wildplastic

Wildplastic in countries where waste management and recycling is problematic or non-existing. We initiate & build & cooperate with NGOs and collectives to clean the environment, empower the marginalised, bring the digital age & transparency into the production and create innovative products where plastic meets its recyclable future. Piece by piece. All products are 100% Wildplastic and 100% recyclable. Our first product is a trash bag, called WILDBAG. It‘s the first trash bag that cleans up the planet. Literally! Every bag is made from 100% collected WILDPLASTIC (plastic from the environment) and is designed to raise awareness. Currently this bag is only available online in Germany and will soon also be sold in stores in Germany. But we aim to expand to more countries soon.
