Familiars were believed to be supernatural entities that would assist witches and "cunning folk" in their practice of magic. Familiars are spirit beings that witches make intentional and natural or accidental pacts with.

Because familiars present within a flesh vessel, it does mean they won't spend their entire life with a witch, within that vessel, most likely, however, they can shift into another flesh vessel, to continue your life together. Many have reported sensing or feeling their previous familiar within another.

What they do: They give us love. Protect, shift between the worlds, perform acts for the witch, companionship and friendship, pass messages onto the witch, form a strong psychic connection & assist in the witches development. Nurture the witch if she is unwell. For example a cat may spend time laying on your bed if you have the flu.

What we may give in return: Friendship, warmth, companionship, a foothold into this world, milk, incense, love, attention, medical attention, spiritual nurturing, connection and may other food elements, including giving them a place to belong.

Familiars

The relationship between witches and familiars runs deeper than you could ever possibly know or understand, unless you have experienced it yourself. Many think this is clichéd or non existent.

Familiars are usually (but not always) household pets that serve as a witch’s companion & helper. Sometimes a witch can feel an IMMEDIATE connection to her familiar.

Familiars are like guides, who take the form of an animal on Earth. They can warn you about someone ie a cat may hiss at someone who is not good for you. A dog might bark or lunge at a person if they are bad.

They are loyal, they are true guardians and they are protectors of witches. They are sent or manifested to assist with their magic and life in general.

They can send warnings telepathically or through behaviours.

Familiars are not just our pets or friends, they are connected to us psychically and telepathically.

If you are lucky enough to have a genuine familiar, treat them with all the respect and dignity, like a royal. Bathe them with love, adoration, and appreciation.

Familiars can be any type of animal ie a cat, dog, etc.

HONEY JAR

IS SOMEONE GIVING YOU A HARD TIME? YOU CAN "SWEETEN" THEM WITH A HONEY JAR!

I N G R E D I E N T S

1 Small Jar 1 Picture of the Person in question OR at least their name written on a piece of paper. 1 Tablespoon of Honey 1 Tablespoon of Sugar 1 of Anything else you have that is super sweet ie icecream, biscuits, lollies (candy). 1 Tea Light Candle.

M E T H O D

Write your intention x 3 on the back of the photo or the name paper. Say you want them to adore you for example. Fold it up multiple times and put it in the jar. Envision/visualise the person treating you the way you want them to, they are thinking highly of you, praising you and think you are the best thing since sliced bread! Pour all of the sweetness over the paper/picture inside of the jar. Close the lid of the jar - seal it shut! Remove the tea light candle out of it' s metal or plastic container. Place the tea light on top of the jar, light it and let it burn out on its own. Remember to have this somewhere it won 't cause a fire or an issue with the melting wax ie on a sink top or in the sink even. So mote it be
