Benefit for Harlan Moos Harlan Moos was a longtime member of BetterLife and President of Branch 185 in Philip, SD. He was an active member of his branch and community with a great poker face and a big heart. Harlan often was the one to help organize benefits for those in need in his community.
rallied together and held a benefit for him on January 20. They organized a Brat Fry at the high school girls’ basketball game with help from the local John Deere dealership sponsoring the food. In just three hours, they raised $5,920 to help pay for his medical bills. Unfortunately, Harlan was not able to recover from his illness and passed away on February 15, 2022.
Earlier this year, Harlan became very ill and needed to be hospitalized. His branch, Branch 185, and the community
