Teach First talk business

Y12 students have aspirational career chat

Bethnal Green Academy hosted Teach First’s Business Leaders Council meeting. A group of our Sixth Form students had a fantastic opportunity to have career chats with some of the business leaders from companies such as Marks and Spencer, Clifford Chance, Credit Suisse and McKinsey. The students worked exceptionally hard to prepare themselves for their meetings by researching the business leaders and brushing up on their interview skills. The event was a huge success and feedback from the students was extremely positive.

Primary School Voices Event Young students show off their talent

Young Voices sing for BGA Bethnal Green Academy students were very lucky to be an audience to the wonderful primary schools choir, it was absolutely brilliant! Their enthusiasm and cheery attitude made each song uplifting and capture you right from the beginning all the way to end. We particularly loved the medley mash up of Adele and Labyrinth songs.

Gourmet Lunch with Year 11 A foodie feast for Bethnal Green Academy Year 11 did a wonderful job with their restaurant last week. Diners were impressed with the transformed food tech classroom and were also blown away with the service and incredible food. The exotic menu included jerk chicken, jollof rice, plantain, stuffed peppers, carrot cake, fruit punch, and other mouth watering dishes. Well done to our Hospitality students for serving such a delicious lunch.
