A New Look for a New Season!

The summer season is coming to an end once again, and we begin to think about back-to-school time, chilly nights, bonfires and comfy sweaters! With all the craziness in the world right now, what better way to welcome the new season than with some new fall hair and a fresh start!
Everyone has a favorite look, from ponytails, natural curls or maybe even bangs, a concept that some are apprehensive to try. But this year, bangs continue to be a big fall trend. The summer heat will be coming to an end, and it’s time to get that cool new look for the fall. Soft sweeping curtain bangs that showcase our face and features are a compliment to all.
Another hot new trend that often makes its appearance in the trend cycle is the classic bob. This fall, the bob is coming back but in dry cutting form. Cut to perfection with any texture or hair type, from curly to straight, the bob is versatile and easy to manage. But for a longer and still manageable cut, the lob is another classic cut with a little more length. Either cut will be perfected to the very last piece with the precision of cutting the hair wet rather than dry. The look builds itself.
As always, remember: Hair maintenance is key! Summertime can really take a toll on our hair health. Start this fall with a conditioning treatment, cut and maybe even a new warm red or brown fall color. Hydrating shampoo, conditioner and a once-a-week hair mask can do wonders to the texture and maintenance of your hair after heat and salt water damage. Also remember to go for a sulfate-free hair care routine. Sulfate is damaging to the hair and also to the scalp, and that is especially true for color-treated hair. Joico and Moroccanoil products are always sulfate-free and have many beneficial properties for your hair.
If you feel that products just have not been doing the trick on unruly frizzy hair, it may be worth it to try a smoothing treatment. The results and benefits are many: Reduced dry time, improved manageability and the hair has that sun-kissed summer shine that you may be yearning for on those dry fall days.
