Congratulations to Belle Jolly, September Sproul Lanes Student of the Month!

We’re pleased to announce that the September Sproul Lanes Student of the Month is Marple Newtown High School junior Belle Jolly! To celebrate this recognition, Belle received a Certificate of Achievement, and looks forward to enjoying her award: a “Pizza Bowl” party courtesy of Sproul Lanes, our Sponsor of this program.
Belle demonstrates excellence in Service to many communities, beginning at home, as a great big sister to her four younger siblings. She also loves babysitting for other young children.
She serves her Marple Newtown High School community in many ways: As a member of the Tiger Guides, she gives tours for 8th-graders and helps orient freshmen to the school. Belle is on the Tennis team; is a member of the Fringe Club (creative writing); and also enjoys participating in the Mock Trial and Debate Clubs.

Belle also serves the Marple Newtown community. She helps the Rotary Club with their Bag Bingo events, by soliciting sponsorships and prize donations and by selling raffle tickets at those events. She also helps out at Camp Treasure Island, a Bible camp, where she leads crafts and game activities for 5-year-olds.
Her favorite school subject is History, and when Belle envisions her future, she sees herself possibly following in her mom’s footsteps in the legal profession. She’d like to someday start a nonprofit that helps needy people in the community.
Nominate the Next Student of the Month!
Any student in grades 7–12 who resides within the borders of the Marple Newtown School District can be nominated by a parent, teacher or themself. Send a 200-word essay to SOTM@SproulLanes.com explaining why the student excels in Service to friendship, school or other local communities. Academic or athletic excellence may be considered but is not required. The Winner will be featured in next month’s magazine and will also receive a Sproul Lanes Pizza Bowl Gift Certificate good for 2 hours of bowling for up to 10 people plus pizza, sodas, snacks and free shoe rental.

Every other lane is open, allowing for social distancing. We sanitize and clean throughout the day and conduct a deep cleaning every day we’re closed. Bowler areas, house bowling balls, keypads, seating, and shoes, etc., are all disinfected between groups. Please be aware that face masks are required to enter, and must be worn at all times.
