The best stethoscope for nurses depends. One can buy the cheapest but good quality Littmann classic or if they have more money then they can go with the Cardi III. The littmann classic is light and has a good enough quality sound- not as good as Cardi iii . However if you are not on budget I suggest you go with Cardi iii which will be with you for along. The sound is great and it also works on adults and pediatrics too. The Classic has a diaphragm that allows high and low frequency. However one has to alternate the chest piece. It comes with two years of warranty and is latex free. However if you are very tall the Littmann Classic lumen is short and one has to elan very close when using it.
