In January, you can enjoy night skiing on Wednesdays and Fridays for an enchanting evening of cross-country skiing.

The 8,000-square-foot lodge includes a cafeteria that offers a friendly atmosphere and serves up chili, hot chocolate and coffee, along with their famous Rice Krispie squares and carrot cake.

Highlands Nordic is an expert at equipment sales, fittings and service bench repairs with great deals on beginner packages for both classic and skate skiing.

The full-service Pro Shop has it all from recreational to world cup race calibre skis – along with classic and skate rentals for all ages. You can even get your wood skis pine tarred. New for the 2022/23 season are fatbike rentals.

Private lessons are also available in classic and skate techniques for individuals and families.

With nearby Georgian Bay’s lake effect, Mother Nature produces 350cm of annual snowfall on average — that’s 12 feet for those of you who don’t speak metric.
