Pressing On! It’s been a busy year for mother and daughter team, Michelle and Stephanie Witts, aka Witts Design. This spring they opened their shop, Mitographie, in Holt, selling their range of colourful printed fabrics, cushions and other homewares, made using traditional screen printing and digital techniques. Next up, was the launch of their new design and printing studio on the Stody Estate, in August. “We’ve been looking for a studio where we could do all our designing and printing from one place for a while, and when we found Stody, it was the perfect it,” says Stephanie. “This now allows us to hand design, prototype and do small manufacturing of our products from these premises, as well as to run screen printing courses, which will launch in 2019.” And to top the year off, their Christmas design has just landed (pictured), available as greeting cards, tea towels, coasters, and more, from £7.99.
