Snap the knit of your choice into the shell of your lid. The vent cover decreases airflow while the knit liner provides warmth for cold weather riding. Attach the goggle clip for a secure goggle strap.
All Bern lids feature the Bern Profile. The difference between all of the models is the vent and edge styling and the size of the mold.
The chine line of each model separates the top of the lid from the sides. The lid ergonomically fits around your head instead of on top of it providing full protection.
Bern’s trademark, low-profile style is combined with a deep surround fit and feel. Bern offers multiple shell sizes in most models to provide balance between protection, profile and fit.

David Sheets is an underground artist and printmaker living in Denver, Colorado. His love of storytelling combined with a passion for skateboarding and snowboarding made for the ultimate collaboration with Bern. Sheets utilizes everything from drawing, painting, printmaking, and anything in between, like the hand cut rubylith film he used to create the graphics for our Artist Series Baker and Muse lids. While his imagination runs wild with scenes played out before him, he remembers a distinct beginning of drawing war scenes as a child. “While some kids would invite their friends over to play with toy tanks and soldiers I would ask mine to come over and draw them. I guess it was a pretty dorky thing to do even though they were epic battles, at least the way I remember them, lots of chaos!
