CLASS NOTES

Hunter Jr. and Hope, are attending Kenyon and Vanderbilt, respectively. Everyone is doing well and is healthy. We have been in Grand Rapids for eight years and we are really enjoying West Michigan. We started a professional search firm, Management Recruiters of Grand Rapids (www.mrigr.com), six years ago and have over twenty associates. We have enjoyed helping companies and individuals achieve their talent staffing and career goals. In fact, we have successfully helped at least one Berkshire alumnus in his job search. I keep in touch with MURRAY BODINE from time to time. He is living in the San Francisco area and doing great.”

to keep her on her toes. She and Cooper are traveling to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia together this November and are very excited! WENDY OGILVIE writes: “Life here in Michigan is going well. My job is busy as an environmental consultant, focusing on Great Lakes water quality issues and green infrastructure. I am training for a 25k race, but my knees only want to do the 10k. My daughter, Erin, 22, graduated from Michigan State University in May, with a degree in creative advertising and a degree in psychology. She is looking to go to a specialized portfolio school, which involves a road trip with her friends to Miami, New York, and Chicago (mmm...) My son, Scott, 24, graduated a year ago from University of Colorado, and is now working his way around the world, gaining classroom experience, as he calls it, to be an elementary school teacher. With no more tuition assistance needed, maybe I can plan a trip, too!” CHRISTINE GELARDIN writes: “I am back in New York City having returned home to the Upper East Side. I am now officially an empty nester! My son Nicholas just graduated from Deerfield Academy and my older son, Alexander, is studying medicine at Boston University. I would love to hear from fellow classmates.”
