Afterword

This is the second issue of Perennial: The Berkeley Undergraduate Environmental Journal, and it is the accumulation of many hours of hard work by our dedicated staff. We would like to thank the many individuals who worked on this project during the COVID-19 crisis and The Green Initiative Fund for their support in funding this project. Perennial was also accepted as one of the contributing teams to the Global University Climate Forum in support of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference 26 (COP26).

If you are interested in contributing to future issues, please check out our website perennial.berkeley.edu for information on joining our team, as well as how to submit work to Perennial.

With “Transformation” as our second issue’s theme, we want to highlight some organizations focusing on intersectional environmentalism, as well as those based in the Bay Area that are pushing for transformative change. This is by no means an exhaustive list: we encourage you to get involved with campus, local, and community-based organizations.
