Sabrina Solomiany joined Berkadia in June 2022 and is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Medical & Life Sciences. She specializes in providing healthcare and life sciences real estate investors with acquisition, disposition, debt placement and recapitalization strategies. Ms. Solomiany's expertise spans various specialties of healthcare real estate including medical office buildings, life sciences, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, shortand long-term acute care hospitals, behavioral health, surgical hospitals, cancer centers, proton therapy, specialty hospitals, free-standing emergency departments, micro hospitals and urgent cares. Her clients include REITs, institutional investors, healthcare providers, developers and private capital investors.

Chris Lashmet joined Berkadia in 2022 and is a Managing Director of Medical & Life Sciences. Prior to Berkadia, Mr. Lashmet co-led the Medical Office group at Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors with his business partner Eric Lee. Together, they founded the new division at Blueprint, grew a team, and experienced significant early success in the market. They closed 20 medical office transactions valued at $170 million during their tenure at Blueprint across various deal profiles, spread throughout the country.

He is an accomplished senior level professional with over 20 years of diverse experience in commercial real estate, healthcare finance.

Patrick Abeln joined Berkadia in July 2023 as Director for Medical and Life Sciences. Patrick focuses on debt placement and JV equity structuring and is a senior level professional with 14 years of experience, including over nine years in healthcare real estate.

He has served in various roles, most recently as Assistant Vice President responsible for sourcing all financing on acquisition and development projects. He was directly responsible for sourcing over $3 billion in debt from lenders nationwide.

Madison Strasmann joined Berkadia in May 2023 as an Associate specializing in investment sales and mortgage banking. Prior to joining Berkadia, she was an Associate for CBRE’s U.S. Healthcare and Life Sciences Capital Markets team, focusing on debt placement and structured finance strategies for private investors, physicians, and regional physician groups. Madison worked on numerous financing assignments for a consideration of nearly $200 million. Her experience spans various specialties of healthcare real estate including medical office buildings, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, micro-hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, urgent cares, and life sciences facilities.

George Desloge joined Berkadia in 2023 as a Senior Financial Analyst for Medical & Life Sciences. George started his real estate career with Newmark as a Research Analyst where he developed and maintained a proprietary database of market fundamentals and assisted brokerage groups with client acquisition and relocation. In 2019, George transitioned into Newmark’s Appraisal and Valuations Department. As an appraiser, he valued over 350 properties, totaling over $1.5 billion of all asset types including office, retail and industrial. George has experience working with a variety of clients including banks, life companies, pension funds, special servicers, and REITs.
