As spring starts to emerge it’s time to get back in the garden, and here at Bents it’s no exception. Our creative juices have been flowing and our plant area is looking alive, with beautiful, fresh plants and colourful containers providing the perfect inspiration to embrace the outdoors once again.
It’s also a season with lots of events to enjoy and we’ve got everything covered from Mother’s Day to Easter as well as our own calendar of activities, which we’re really looking forward to hosting.

As the weather warms up it’s worth thinking about what needs to be done in the garden and have a bit of a spring clean in preparation for the growing season. It’s time to roll up the sleeves and get back outdoors…
The shed (or maybe it’s your garage) is always a good place to start. Have a look at what you’ve got and throw out any fertilisers or feeds that are out of date. Review what you’re left with and stock up on anything you think might be useful for the season ahead.

Spring is the perfect time to pamper your lawn and prepare it for summer. Have a quick tidy up of any debris and rake out any moss that has accumulated over the winter months. Improve drainage aeriation by spiking your lawn with a fork, which will give it a healthy start for the new season.
Making sure your tools are clean will help keep your garden healthy during the coming seasons. Check for signs of rust, and invest in new equipment if anything is broken. Mend fence panels and clear any fallen branches and debris, but if the soil is still wet try to avoid walking on it and compacting.
As the weather starts to warm and the days get longer nothing can be better than seeing the little ones get outside and enjoy the fresh air.
Our outdoor play area is the perfect place to let their imaginations wander, run, jump, climb and play and when all their energy has been expended our Fresh Approach Restaurant awaits, with warm homemade food to fill their tummies. Open until 5pm it’s the perfect place for an after school treat.

Grab a golf club and immerse yourself in another world. Take on life sized dinosaurs and swashbuckling pirates as you navigate your way round our 18 hole Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf Course.
We’ve been making some changes to our Indoor Beach, one of our favourite attractions for the little ones. It’s new, undercover location next to our Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf means parents can enjoy coffee and cake whilst buckets are filled and sandcastles built.
Pull on your walking boots for our 5k Windy Bank Woods’ nature trail, located to the rear of the centre. Grab one of our themed leaflets and let the little ones take charge of directions, making discoveries along the way.

Hop along to discover an eggcellent range of Easter gifts, goodies and chocolate treats galore.
Pick up some of our Easter decorations and get creative. Let the little ones use their imagination to create a truly eggstravagant Easter Hat; a showstopping head piece to make a statement. Hold a hat parade and reward their efforts with some chocolate treats
We’ve got some great bags of colourful plastic eggs which work perfectly for a treasure hunt. Hide all the eggs and give each child a different colour to find. Once they have found all their eggs they will be rewarded with those of the chocolate variety.
Located in the delicious surroundings of our Food Hall, our Mediterranean style Tapas Bar is now open every Wednesday – Sunday from 12.00 –4.30pm*.
Diners can indulge in a selection of Spanish influenced appetisers, which now includes an even wider range of home-made vegan choices, whilst exploring the wonderful world of wine with our enigmatic wine-tasting experience.
