HR Forum Herts Chamber held its latest HR Forum on Thursday 20th March, and the session was facilitated by Matt Pocock, Employer Engagement Officer for the Chamber and HR specialist Helen Bell. The forum was structured around a workshop session focusing on some of the key people management challenges currently facing organisations including: Embracing change, dealing with conflict, the effects of disempowerment and the importance of personal responsibility.
This session was a great success and allowed businesses from across Hertfordshire to interact and comment on these challenges by providing case study examples from their own organisations. The forum was also a great opportunity for delegates to come together and discuss other people management challenges currently facing their organisations.
I would like to take the opportunity to extend thanks to this forum’s key note speakers Martin Arnold and Mike Turner from Youbecome, for their presentation on employee engagement.
