The Stand By Me Safe Spaces are places where young people can get information and support for problems that they are facing. The Orewa Library and Glenfield Safe Spaces were launched in May. These have shown some significant success with a large number of resources being taken by children, youth and parents. Expert help is able to be accessed at all safe spaces and while the knowledge of this opportunity is growing in the community we would like ask everyone to spread the word, especially to those young people in their lives. The Takapuna Library Stand By Me Safe Space was launched on the 1st of October, in the Youth Section of the library.
