The Coaches Felicia Jenkins, Head Coach Felicia Jenkins begins her seventh year as head coach for Benedict College. Under her leadership, the Lady Tigers basketball team has posted three 20-win seasons and one trip to the NCAA playoffs. She has guided Benedict to SIAC tournament championships in 2007 and 2010. She has coached five All-Conference players and one SIAC Player of the Year. She was named the Women’s Tournament Outstanding Coach after the 2007 Tournament. In six seasons, Jenkins has a 95-79 record at Benedict. Jenkins graduated from Claflin University in 1993. She began her coaching career in 1993 at Eau Claire High School in Columbia, S.C. After two seasons at Eau Claire, Coach Jenkins continued coaching at the high school level at Orangeburg Consolidated District 4 from 1997-2001. After seven years of high school coaching experience, Jenkins joined the ranks of collegiate coaching when she accepted an assistant coaching position at her Alma mater, Claflin University. Jenkins spent four years as an assistant coach at Claflin before arriving at Benedict. Jenkins has three children: Kristoper (17), Kaiya (11) and Kelci (9).
