SPORTS DAY
The annual NIVA Elementary Sports Day was a massive success this year. The students competed in tee-ball, soccer, and kickball just to name a few. The competitors had a fantastic time honing their athletics’ skills while learning the importance of sportsmanship and friendly rivalry. GREAT JOB ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS!!

DRAMA
This year students, parents, and teachers alike were riveted by a series of plays put on by the high school drama class. The audience was treated to stellar performances including beautiful singing, titillating dramatic re-enactment, and hair-raising excitement that brought gasps and laughs from the entire crowd. This year’s performances will be hard to beat!!

G4 PRESENTS ORIGINAL FAIRY TALES
TO KINDERGARTEN
The NIVA fourth grade class once again put together a series of performances that were second to none. The Kindergarten class had the great fortune to watch the fourth graders act out their own, original fairy tales. The actors and actresses used the outdoor green area as the environ in which to share their dramatic interpretations of fairy tales to an enthralled kindergarten audience.

Once again, NIVA’s Music Department prepared a showstopping lineup of musicians who kept the audience on the edges of their seats as they played beautiful compositions. From the elementary school’s rendition of popular classics on the recorder, to a guitar ensemble presented by the secondary school students, this year’s recital was excellent. Our NIVA students are truly exceptional musicians!

The Annual NIVA Science Fair once again transformed Heisler Hall into one giant petri dish of scientific excitement! Elementary students prepared projects demonstrating the tremendous powers of gravity and the machinations of volcanoes to name just a couple of the very interesting and informative projects on display. The Secondary School had a science project competition with seventeen awesome experiments performed live before an awe struck audience. A snake and a frog were dissected live, and students demonstrated the power of fire by safely lighting the Head of School’s hand on fire‌.boy was he shocked!

PROM
The culminating event that NIVA students look forward to all year - NIVA Prom - was held this year at the Anantara Hotel in Central Bangkok. Students in high school arrived in their finest attire to enjoy multiple courses of delectable foods accompanied by musical and dance presentations put on by the students themselves. It was a fantastic evening of dazzling lights and photo-ops rivaling Hollywood’s hottest stars‌.our NIVA students are an impressive group!

ELEMENTARY COMPLETION CEREMONY Every year we at NIVA are so proud to watch our elementary school students move on to middle school. This remarkable achievement is marked by the Elementary Completion Ceremony and this year’s group of graduates did not disappoint. Our NIVA fifth graders presented themselves with dignity as the young adults that they have become as they received their 5th grade diplomas‌.we are so proud of all of you newly minted middle school students!

GRADUATION Tears of joy rolled down the collection of parents’, teachers’, administrators’ and students’ faces who were gathered in Heisler Hall to watch as our thirty nine graduates climbed the stairs to the stage and were presented their NIVA high school diplomas. Not a year goes by when the conflicting feelings of pride and joy are not expressed through this emotional ceremony, and this year was no different. We at NIVA are so incredibly proud of the graduating class of 2018, and we look forward to watching each and every one of our graduates achieve their dreams in life….. CONGRATULATIONS NIVA CLASS OF 2018!!!

KINDERGARTEN
GRADUATION Kindergarten 3 students were in fine form when they gathered together to be presented their Kindergarten graduation diplomas. Dressed in graduation gowns and with not a coiffed hair out of place, KG3 students evoked tears of joy from their watching families as they ascended the stairs to the graduation stage. This ceremony is a marker of accomplishment and focus; CONGRATULATIONS K3!!
