Student leadership led W. Noah Reynolds ’02 on a path of professional and personal fulfillment. While studying for a second bachelor’s degree in accounting at UNC Charlotte, Noah was elected vice president of operations for Beta Alpha Psi, the national accounting honor society. He also was one of four students to Noah Reynolds represent the Belk College in the Deloitte National Tax Competition, achieving Honorable Mention status. Following a tax internship with Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, Noah worked full-time in audit and tax and earned his CPA designation in 2003. In 2007, he earned an MBA from Wake Forest University. Prior to attending UNC Charlotte, Noah earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University. Noah has made an endowed gift to the Belk College of Business in support of professional development activities for students, acknowledging his experience in the Belk College as inspiration for the gift. “My experiences with the Tax Challenge Competition, Beta Alpha Psi, the Accounting Department, and the Belk College of Business launched a career in public accounting and provided a firm foundation upon which all I have accomplished has been built,” he says. “It is an honor and a privilege to give back to UNC Charlotte.” Noah currently provides real estate and investment management services for his family office and is also an adjunct instructor of entrepreneurship at UNC Greensboro.
