ne of the four Dulwich schools in Asia (alongside Shanghai, Suzhou and Seoul), Dulwich College Beijing opened in 2005 and is affiliated with Dulwich College London as well as a member school of Council of International Schools. The curriculum is based on the best practices of British and international systems leading up to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in Year 11 (Grade 10) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB) in Year 13 (Grade 12). The three DCB campuses are characterized by a strong sense of community where every student is placed under the care of a form teacher or tutor who is the first point of contact for families. Students also join one of five houses for competition, which is the basis for class groups in the Senior School – in so doing they are both supported and challenged to excel in a community based environment.
