1.1 DESCRIPTION OF HOUSE TYPE, KITCHEN AND TOILET THIS IS A TWO ROOM DOUBLE STOREY LANDED HOUSE IN MALAYSIA, THIS IS A REPORT FOR WET KITCHEN AND TOILET BESIDES.

DISTANCE BETWEEN SOCKET AND SINK IS LONGER THAN 300MM AND 150MM HEIGHT FROM TABLE TOP.
KITCHEN HEIGHT IS 2.55M, NOT LESS THAN 2.25M, AS STATED IN UBBL.
KITCHEN AREA IS 8.79 SQUARE METRES NOT LESS THAN 4.5 SQUARE METRES, AS STATED IN UBBL.
LOUVERED WINDOW IS BUILT FOR GOOD VENTILATION IN TOILET
LOUVERED WINDOW PROVIDE GOOD VENTILATION
DISTANCE BETWEEN KITCHEN CABINET AND KITCHEN TABLETOP IS 700MM FULLFILL REQUIREMENTS.
In conclusion, for kitchen part, there is no chimney and smoke flue in my kitchen so cause the bad ventilation in my kitchen. The opening of my louvered window is not larger enough so that smoke and smells accumulate in my kitchen after cooking, should change the window to casement window for wider opening. The material use for my kitchen cabinet is soft maple wood and is not suitable as it is not fire resistance material and it corrosion due to wet environment, especially the one under sink, because sometimes there will have water dropping from pipe so the wood down there already corrode, it can be changed to aluminium cabinet to prevent corrosion issue and aluminium cabinet has smooth area for us to easy clean. Kitchen cabinet door should apply auto soft close hinges to avoid slam door and extend the life span of door. For lighting part, there is not bright enough at kitchen top area, led tube light can be put under the hanging cabinet to brighten kitchen table top area. Besides that, there is not enough working place at kitchen, the length of kitchen table top should extend to a certain length. A door should be built at the enter of kitchen to prevent the smoke spread to living room area. Lack of dishwasher, as the size of kitchen sink is not big enough for us to wash huge amount of bowl. The type of sink tape only can turn direction but can't pull out, sometimes is hard for us to clean the sink, spring pull-out kitchen tap is needed for more convenience. From the picture we can see that my kitchen splashbacks are tiles, and have grouts that will accumulate dirty and bacterial, so it is better change the splashbacks to glass splashbacks. Other than that, my kitchen has good flooring tiles in matte finish to prevent slippery. Suitable positioning of electric socket.
MATERIAL OF KITCHEN CABINET IS NOT FIRE RESISTANCE MATERIAL
For the toilet part, the ventilation is not that good as it only has a small louvered window, a boost fan can be given to the window to improve ventilation problem. Besides that, my basin is placed outside the toilet, it is a bit inconvenience that after using toilet we need to go out to wash our hand, there's still a empty place in my toilet and the basin should move inside. A bidet hose can be installed beside the toilet bowl. The flooring tiles in toilet are in matte finish so it prevent slippery as the floor of toilet is usually wet, and the wall of toilet area is smooth surface tiles, easy to clean.

The architectural consultant provides professional planning, design, construction management, and budgeting services for capital construction projects including new structures, additions, alterations, and repair of State facilities. Structural engineers are primarily concerned with designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings. Site inspectors monitor all work carried out on a construction site to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld. They make sure that building plans and specifications are being followed correctly and manage staff and subcontractors on building sites.

TIMBER FLOORING 44103.(1) ALL TIMBER FLOORING ARE TREATED WITH A SUITABLE WOOD PRESERVATIVE BY FOLLOWING UBBL RULE MENTION THATWHERE STRUCTURAL TIMBER FLOORS ARE PERMISSIBLE UNDER THESE BY-LAWS THEY SHALL BE DESIGNED OF HARDWOOD OR OF SPECIES OF TIMBER TREATED WITH A SUITABLE WOOD PRESERVATIVE.
CONCLUSION THIS IS MY VERY FRIST TIME WORKING ON A FULL DRAWING LIST, AND FINALLY GET TO KNOW MORE KNOWLEDGE ON WORKING DRAWING LIST AND PARTIES INVOLVED. I'M SO GLAD THAT UNDER THE HELPS OF LECTURES I ABLE TO FINISH THESE DRAWINGS, ALTHOUGTH AT FIRST I'M QUITE CONFUSE ON CERTAIN DRAWINGS SUCH AS REFELCTED CEILING PLAN, WATER SUPPLY AND BQ, BUT I DISCUSS WITH FRIENDS AND FIGURE OUT THE WAY TO COMPLETE IT. FINALLY IT IS THE LAST PROJECT OF DWD MODULE AND I'VE LEARN A LOT OF TECHNICAL DRAWING SKILLS THROUGH OUT THIS MODULE AND MORE CONFIDENCE FOR MY INTERNSHIP, HOPE THAT I CAN APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE THAT I'VE LEARNED FOR THIS MODULE DURING MY INTERNSHIP.
