Personal Achievement tutors

• Each course has a PAT who will help and support you through the year.

• Weekly group tutorial sessions and termly one to one sessions.

• Can help with all college related concerns, for example, workload, assignments and organisation skills and also outside concerns that may be affecting your college life.

Additional support

• If you have any addition support needs – please declare these on your application form or email Sally on sparkes@bedford.ac.uk

• Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ASD, ADHD or any other additional needs.

• Exam concessions can also be honoured here at college – Extra time in exams, Laptops, readers and scribes etc.

What happens next?

• An conditional offer will be made depending on the achievement of your GCSEs

• Emails will start to arrive detailing information such as your offer, welcome day and enrolment onto the course.

• GCSE results day-open day at college come in and discuss your grades and options with a tutor if needed

Thursday 22nd June • Taster day

• Mini lessons • Quizzes and ice breakers

• Get to know the tutors. • Tour of the site and ZEC

Timetables

• The courses will run over 3 days a week full time at college

• 2 Study days a week, this is to complete assignments and revise for exams – these are NOT days off.

• Timetables will be given out on your first day.

• The college day is 9am – 4.45pm.
