On March 8th, we celebrated International Women’s Day. It is a day filled with intention and a focus on raising awareness to create a world of equity, diversity and inclusion. We can thank the women of Russia who took a stand and were granted the right to vote on March 8, 1917 to launch this day for all women around the world

There are countless women who have impacted our world, our lives and my own personal journey along the way These eleven women I chose to highlight are the most predominant for me but not the entire list from my lifetime. I wanted to share them with you so that we acknowledged their contribution to the world and also to prompt you to recognize the women within your life who extended your wings to fly
