Craft Central are delighted to announce that the amazingly talented is coming up from Christchurch to host a shibori making workshop exclusively for our Trentham Racecourse market. Shibori is an ancient Japanese fabric dyeing process and is very on trend at the moment. You’ll learn the basics of the craft and have hands-on opportunities to explore tying and folding methods. Shailee is an experienced workshop teacher and will provide all the chemicals and fabric samples you need to get you started on your own Shibori adventure. This workshop is open to adults only, because of the chemicals and processes used. You can look at some of Shailee’s inspiring work .
