LETTER FR OM eDitORsTHE
Dear Patriots,
It’s here: the end of another school year! For seniors, it’s the end of your last year as a high school student. Another chapter begins, with more opportunities and independence. While it may seem daunting to be on your own, it’s important to remember how far you’ve come and everyone that supported you along the way. Before you become an adult, take a moment to revisit the freedom of your childhood. This edition is for you. All of your hard work has paid of, and now it’s time to chillax!
Our theme for this edition was “2000s Magazine” to bring back childhood memories for the Class of 2023.
The 2000s set the mood for our generation, as we remember the decade of new technology, classic flms, and iconic fashion in a rose-tinted light. With bright colors and swirly fonts, we hope you can look back at high school with the same type of fondness.
Our team has been working hard to make this edition more interactive, so make sure to check out the QR codes and interactive quizzes included. The combined eforts of the content, design, and photography team bring you the edition in your hands today. From all of us at The Beckman Chronicle, we hope you enjoy it!
Cheers, Your Editors-in-Chief

s a member of Beckman B, can say fully to make the best of your e perience in high school. ime is a thief, so be sure to grasp the opportunities that are given to you, you will only regret it if you don t! oin clubs that you think might be interesting, as they will help shape you as a person and will beneft you in your ourney to college. ven if you procrastinate or e perience academic burnout, it is okay to struggle once in a while. Life comes and goes, and you have many more opportunities to thrive in the future. igh school is not all focused on academics, so make the most of the relationships and the people you meet. he time you spend here helps you grow as a person!
Haley Kothari
ave fun! ou won t get another high school e perience. ake the most of the years you have here. tart things early if you can, take internships early, and start looking into college applications. on t overstress, but do not procrastinate! o whatever you feel you d want to. ake the classes and partake in the e periences you en oy, and the rest will come naturally. retty soon you will look back on your e periences and be surprised they went by so uickly!
Olivia Falchetti
would advise incoming freshmen to take each day and week as it comes. on t stress the small things. t the end of the day, we cannot control time, and you will graduate before you know it. ake strong connections with your teachers and form close bonds with your friends because it will beneft you in the long run. ost importantly, remember to stay true to your values and don t get swayed by people s opinions.
Saarah Rangwala
hoose classes with content that sparks your interest and that you re passionate about. t s easy to succumb to peer pressure from friends and classmates who may be signing up for a rigorous workload, but remember to challenge yourself within your capacity. o help with your selection process, talk to other students or upperclassmen who have completed the courses you are interested in, and make sure you do your research. s for procrastination, it is always better to start early. t is much more benefcial long term to study early and often, rather than cramming the night before an e am or an important assignment is due. old yourself accountable by having study sessions with friends during the week, but make sure to give yourself time for breaks.
ve heard this idea echoed a few times but it s worth repeating. ve always tried to agree to participate in as many things as can. t s always paid o in ways wouldn t have predicted, either as new skills or new connections.
pend your time getting involved on campus for e ample, with sports! was in lacrosse for all years. t s been an amazing e perience and ve made some of the best relationships. ocus on yourself, instead of comparing yourself. on t compete with everyone when it comes to grades and academics, because everyone has their own path and is di erent! or your college essays, start early and put a lot of thought into them when brainstorming. t helps to get all of your ideas out on paper and write anything that comes to mind, then refne the fnal product brain dumps are key! Wherever you end up, you can be happy, and everything will work out in the end!
