Mentorship

3 Month artist/business mentorship

We are on the same team and I am here to watch you grow. We will each set a time to meet over video (2 times per month for about 45minutes each time). We meet one on one, either on zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp. Here we will discuss challenges, successes and each share our milestones in business. My top focus for you will be; client satisfaction (reviews), inventory (making sure you’re stocked with supplies) updated technique tips, content quality and planning. Also, collaborative efforts as a team. In addition to video calls, you will have access to my personal number if you need immediate assistance. Value? (Priceless)

Every pop up that I’ve ever planned, I am booked within less than 10 minutes. There’s no doubt that there is a need for professional crochet braids, but kore importantly, a need for unique and quality extensions that looks and feels like ours. Look around in your city or neighboring cities…..count the amount of professionals that offer this service, using the unique extensions that I offer at my Crochet Bundles company. There is a great demand for the crochet vixen, and once you’re ready to put in the time and effort, success is inevitable.

Before your class

Before your class day, we will meet on zoom to introduce ourselves…..get to know each other…..vibe a little….you let me know your challenges, your strengths and your goals. Important information like, why are you investing in this class and what would you like to accomplish in the near future. This meet and greet also helps with our chemistry for when we actually meet in person…..removing any jitters and nervousness. We have no time for nerves when we have so much to learn (Lol).

Once final payment is made, you will be sent a “how to” video for you to practice the looping method beforehand. From experience, students are much more comfortable knowing what to expect, vs starting from scratch and starting off blindly. This also helps us spend less time on fixing repeated mistakes and more time with your hands-on practice. You MUST watch the videos. You will need this knowledge on class day.

Day One

8am - 6pm

30 min lunch break (I suggest packing lunch)

Please dress comfortable. Sleek Chic Black attire, refreshed face with your most comfy pair of shoes. (Photos and videos are taken on both days)

Get a good nights rest and come energized and ready to work. I’m not a breakfast person but coffee definitely does the trick. We will officially meet with coffee or tea, catch up from where we left off since our zoom call, and jump right into class by 8:30am. We will discuss my current scheduling system, prices, inventory and what a typical busy day looks like for me.

Before our first model, we will first do a simple run through on a mannequin head to again, ensure that we are on the same page. You will be privilaged to everything that happens before a client arrives and when that client leaves. We will run through the following: station set up, tool storage, client payments (cash & cards), inventory, how to stay on time, “make it right” ideas, and “thank you” gift ideas for your clients with vendor information.

First model: Crochet Vixen with no leave out. I will prep the model’s foundation while you guide me to my next steps (because you’ve watched the videos). When it’s time to install, you will watch me install a few pieces then I will watch you do the same. Once I’m satisfied, you will install one half and I will install the other half. Same as with the install, once we are done, I will show you how to create the flawless perimeter hairline and you will do the same on your side. Throughout this process and once completed, we will take videos and photos for your content. We break for about 20 minutes before our next model arrives. Within this timeframe we’ll break to clean up and prepare for our next model, water, bathroom and phone checks.

2nd model: Crochet Vixen with leave out. I will prep the model’s foundation while you guide me onto my next steps (because you’ve watched the videos). When it’s time to install, you will watch me install a few pieces then I will watch you do the same until you’re finished. (Don’t worry, you can do it alone). Throughout this process and once completed, we will take videos and photos for your content. Time to break for clean ups, bathroom and phone checks.

This time I’m doing it for you and sharing tips and secrets for your online success, which makes it even more special….I get to watch you grow.

First model: Crochet Vixen with no leave out. The roles are reversed and you’re in full control. You will complete the entire install. This means foundation, application, illusions and final style. Throughout this process and once completed, we will multitask with taking videos and photos for your content. We break for about 20 minutes before our next model arrives. Within this timeframe we’ll break to clean up and prepare for our next model, water, bathroom and phone checks.

2nd Model: Crochet Vixen with leave out. The roles are reversed and you’re in full control. You will complete the entire install. This means foundation, application, blend and final style.
