Letter from the Board Chair

Dear Friends,

Those of you who knew my late husband, Attorney General Beau Biden, know he spent his life working to protect children by strengthening laws around child protection, developing resources for children and families in need, and confronting those who prey on children. It is my honor, along with our children, to continue Beau’ s work of protecting children. The workshops developed by the Beau Biden Foundation and our Shield of Protection® program provide the community the best available child protection education and prevention skills, allowing children to grow, learn, and thrive.

Your generosity makes all of this possible. Your dedication to child protection is preventing child abuse, stopping predators, and helping families confront bullying and cyberbullying. Your support is rescuing children from traffickers. Your commitment is making child-serving organizations – schools, youth sports leagues, care providers, and more – safer for the children and families in their care. You are making a difference in the lives of thousands of children and families, as well as our communities.

The work that you make possible will be showcased on a national stage at the National Conference to Protect America’ s Children in June 2023. Dozens of leading child protection specialists from around the country will be facilitating discussions on child abuse prevention topics for hundreds of child-serving professionals, allowing thousands more children to grow up free from abuse.
