JUNE 17 Father’s Day beef The Mesa County Cattlewomen will be selling pre-cooked, five-pound top round roasts for $35 in the Sportsman’s Warehouse parking lot from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. JUNE 17-18 Midland Rail Vintage Bicycle Ride Join a recreation of an 1899-1915 bicycle ride from Grand Junction to Glenwood Springs. Organizers researched the history of the Midland Road Race and have included as many of the original elements of the race as possible. The McMullin Murder Mystery Former District Attorney Sam McMullin was poisoned, but despite a plethora of suspects, arrests and a trial, no one was ever convicted of his murder. Now it’s up to the audience to bring a cold-blooded killer to justice in this mystery dinner theatre at A Taste of Heaven Catering.
