All our Beacon boys thoroughly enjoyed this year's Sports Day. A high level of ability and great sportsmanship.
(Left to Right) Top row: Upper School high jump, Pre-Prep sack race, Upper School runners Middle row: Lower school tug of war, Pre-Prep race, Pre-Prep obstacle course, Bottom row: Middle School competitors, Upper School javelin, Reception running race Our Sports day events were actionpacked with some great, friendly, competitiveness. Parents attended to support their sons and the weather was glorious. Our Pre-Prep boys headed to Willsfield for their heats of activity. The Lower, Middle and Upper School events for Years 3 to 8 were hosted in Watford at Woodside Leisure Centre.
Our Pre-Prep boys were faced with hurdles, obstacle courses and a beanbag toss, along with many other challenges. Our older boys had a variety of track and field events, including hurdles, tug of war, long jump, high jump and javelin throwing.
Our boys showed excellent sportsmanship throughout all the events. Well done, boys!
