DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE

Saint Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick, is a cultural and religious festival or celebration that is celebrated on March 17. This day is a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland and is also celebrated around the world. Celebrations generally involve parades, céilis —an Irish social gathering— and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks. This day is also known for the large consumption of alcohol. Speaking of alcohol consumption, World Kidney Day is not too far away on March 12 and across the globe people will be raising awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the risk of kidney disease and other health problems.
