City of Temple City Notices CITY OF TEMPLE CITY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Temple City will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 5938 Kauffman Avenue to consider the following: The City Council will consider a Resolution approving a Schedule of Administrative Fines pertaining to infractions and administrative citations for violations of the Temple City Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 12-957, which was approved by City Council on July 3, 2012, expanded the use of administrative penalties to all violations of the City’s laws and refined the administrative procedures by providing those cited with more clarity of the administrative review process and the potential collection methods that can be used by the City
should a community member fail to pay the administrative fine. Section 1406 of the above Ordinance stipulates that the amount of the fines imposed shall be established by resolution of the City Council. The City Council may, by resolution, also impose escalating fines in amounts it deems appropriate for repeat offenses of the same Ordinance. Any persons interested are invited to attend and present testimony either for or against this item.
