Local Business Marks 10 Years in Making Customers Happy

It was a recent bright, spring morning, when Toddia Ververs of Make Great Wine on River Road West opened the doors of her business for another day, but this was not just another day. This day marked the 10th anniversary of this great local business.

Purchasing the business in 2013, then moving it to the current location at the entrance to downtown Wasaga Beach, Toddia and her team of 3 employees have been welcoming and educating locals with all they have to offer.

Toddia, Ashley and Joann of Make Great Wine have grown to know their customers on a personal level, as they feel when you make wine with them, you are part of the family. Active in the local business community and member of Wasaga Beach Women's Business Assoc. and Chamber of Commerce, in 2021, Toddia was voted 'Wasaga Beach Young Business Women of the Year'

To mark the special Anniversary Day, Toddia and team welcomed regular and new customers into their store for wine making & bottling demonstrations, Cupcakes, cookies and coffee. Lots of promotions and fun wheel of fortune spins. Town Councillor Belanger stopped in to say congratulations and join the fun.

We congratulate the entire team at Make Great Wine on this milestone of 10 years in Wasaga Beach and know that your ever-expanding customer base will continue to enjoy the services you have professionally provided for over a decade.

A new and welcoming 'Swag & Sundries' section has been opened, offering us the opportunity to boast about this great local Wasaga Beach business. Available is all types of Mr. Norm's branded merch, plus everything you need for a day on the beach or in the back yard, including charcoal, sun screen, ice and more.

The new section also has a “Grab & Go Freezer”, offering ready to go, litre sized, packaged Mr. Norm's world famous ice cream, frozen yogurt, delicious ice cream cakes and often a sampling of the ultra good butter tarts from The Baker's Bench, also in Wasaga Beach.

In addition to the main location at 1004 Mosley Street and beachfront shop at Main and Beach Drive, Mr. Norm's Nephew now has a Main Street location offering it's famous ice cream treats at Skull Island, 104 Main Street. Packaged ice cream is also available at The Baker's Bench, located in the Stonebridge Town Centre.
