THE FERRY BUILDING MARKETPLACE SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA The renovation of the Historic Ferry Building in San Francisco not only rehabilitated and resuscitated a San Francisco landmark, but also created a thriving culinary destination for the region’s natives and visitors alike. Both the exterior and interior of the building were restored, including the 660 foot long Nave. The ground floor features the highly acclaimed Ferry Building Marketplace, presenting the best of the Bay Area’s restaurants, food producers, and purveyors to create a unique celebration of the City’s multicultural culinary life. The upper floors contain premium quality office space. BCV was the architect for the Ferry Building Marketplace, and designed the tenant improvements for many of its stores and restaurants.
