The SOAR portal connects you to content videos, tutorials, helpful links, and urgent messages in an easy-to-navigate format. You’ll be able to sign up to review your first semester classes with an advisor via Zoom, and access helpful links to finish your new student checklist — all at your own pace. But that’s not all! We’ll introduce you to faces and names to know on campus — those essential services and resources — from dining to security, from transportation to IT support. Plus, we’re throwing in Raven Store coupons, fun facts about Atchison, and a few virtual surprises!

SOAR ONLINE: ACADEMIC ADVISING May I speak with a faculty member about my class schedule? Yes. Through your SOAR portal, you can sign up for a one-on-one Zoom appointment with a member of the Advising Team beginning May 29. Transfer students may speak directly with their assigned advisor. This is a great time to discuss your academic goals, extracurricular activities, or work-study plans that may influence your schedule. Student-athletes can cross check class schedules against practice times.
When will I see the changes to my class schedule that I discussed with an advisor? Beginning June 16, our Advising Team will begin work on addressing course conflicts. Changes are not instantaneous, however, and may take multiple weeks to finalize. Please be patient and check your RavenZone account during the summer months for your updated course schedule.
