Many programs in the engineering technologies have an entry requirement of Math 12. Technical Mathematics: Introduction (MATH 0001) will meet the Math 12 requirement for BCIT programs and is offered in January, April, May, June, and September every year. Please note that MATH 0001 is intended only for people entering a BCIT program.

TECHNOLOGY ENTRY (TE) UPGRADING PROGRAM bcit.ca/cas/techentry
If you want solid academic preparation before entering a BCIT Technology program, this 15-week, full-time, dayschool program is for you. Improve your skills in core areas such as communication, mathematics, chemistry, and physics in order to meet program prerequisites. TE can also provide BC educational equivalents to supplement credentials earned in other school systems. TE is a great opportunity for you to strengthen your skills and explore BCIT program options at the same time. Intakes are in January and September of each year. TE offers Grade 11- and 12- level chemistry and physics courses to meet Technology program entrance requirements. Grade 12-level science courses are only available during the January to April term.
